Who else?

My hub and I honeymooned at GF in 2000 for a week before heading to Cancun for another week. If we had to do it over again, we would have stayed in Disney for the other week, lol - it was so much fun!

Where did you stay, and for how long?

Not me but our reason for our trip is my sister is being a disney bride- she arrives the week before the wedding, then we arrive 2 days before the wedding and spend 2 full weeks with them (his family & our family) as a "family-moon" and then they're off on a disney cruise when we all fly home. It seemed odd to me at first that she wanted all her family on her honeymoon but for my sister it's really important to her that it's a family event and once in a lifetime vacation with all her nephews and nieces too.

So I am disney honeymooning when we go- just not my honeymoon!

We did 4 nights at GF and 5 nights at BC in 2004, hence our total addiction to BC!!! We loved every minute of it!!

I did in 1999 and it was so much fun!
We did Land/Sea package and stayed 4 days at POR and then took a 3day cruise.

I was a Disney Bride and we honeymooned at POR. It was really great to have the boat to Pleasure Island so we could go to the different clubs and enjoy being married! If I could do it over again, I would have stayed longer too!

OT but Thegrimdwarf you start some really cool threads! :thumbsup2

Went for honeymoon almost 30 YEARS AGO! Stayed for 4 days, only thing in Disney was Magic Kingdom, I don't even think Monorail hotels were there ,(someone correct me if I'm wrong!) we stayed in Travelodge. Ate a lot in HJ's! There was very little around! Boy what a long way it has come!

We did too!!! 1995

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge. We have a picture of us in front of the totem pole and now three kids later we try to get the same picture with the whole family.

We honeymooned there in June of 2003 and staying at the Boardwalk. It was great because they were painting part of the hotel, so they upgraded us to this awsome little stand alone house inside the complex right next to the adult pool (we didn't have kids yet). It was a two floor little house - first floor had a 1/2 kitchen, living room and bathroom, and the upstairs was a master suite with a master bath - it was awsome!!!

We honeymooned at the GF in 1994...were there for 15 days, and had a marvelous time.

OK, I will... the monorails, Contemporary and Poly opened with the MK in Oct. 1971. :)

We did! Hence my screen name, I discovered the Dis when we were planning our honeymoon in 2003/2004. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside for 6 nights and had the BEST time. It was my first ever trip to Disney and started my current obsession!

I wanted to HM at Disney but it never happened. My plan was a week on an island & then a week at Disney.

Instead we did 2 weeks on an island & not in the Carribean like I was originally planning (went to Hawaii).

Instead we went to see Mickey in Feb 2000 & got married in May 2000 & we went in March/April 1999 to get engaged there.

We did a 7 day land/sea in 1990 on the Big Red Boat. We stayed in Downtown Disney at the Grosvenor. We were disappointed, because we had picked the category that included the Polynesian - but it was full. The BRB was decidedly NOT fancy, so it wasn't really a luxury honeymoon. It didn't bother us though, it was the best week of my life.

My husband and I stayed at Pop Century for a week and a half for our honeymoon. Our big regret was opting to NOT get the Dining Plan... We talked about it a lot before we went and didn't think we'd eat that much so we didn't get it. Well, it rained almost nonstop the entire time we were there (more than the usual 4pm Florida daily rain) and wished we could have sat at restaurants and stuff. We now know we will NEVER go without the dining plan again!

We honeymooned in Disney in 1995 for a week, but didn't stay on site because we were poor college students, LOL. I don't even remember the name of the hotel we stayed at - it was closer to Universal and I remember being irritated with our travel agent about that. But it was an amazing trip - such fond memories! :goodvibes

Me and DH were married at Disney and had our honeymoon for ten days at GF. It still wasn't long enough if you ask me-I wanted to stay for another week (or two or three). ;)

Our honeymoon was there in 1994 at Dixie Landings I believe is POR now? It was awesome we were there for a week.

Our honeymoon was a week at the Polynesian Resort in May/June 1988. I would love to go back for our 20th this year, but we decided to take the family out West instead.

DH and I honeymooned at PO-FQ from 12/31/00-1/6/01. We were married in Oct, so it was a bit delayed. We celebrated our 1st anniversary at WL the following Dec. great question!
