Hi Jordan! It's nice to know I can always count on you to be up late with me!

okay.....you guys might've already mentioned this and it may be a rerun, but i know that this show has been mentioned here before. "jon and kate plus eight" is on TLC right now (at least where i'm at it is) and they're going to disney world. i can't wait to see how that goes with 8 kids, 6 of them being toddlers! :scared1:

the ice cream scene with her is disgusting. looks like she is feeding cattle or something. I don't like her or that show.

she FREAKED out over a little ice cream on a shirt. what was the big deal? i'm 31 years old and that happens to me sometimes. :lmao:

:rotfl2:
I don't like her. I think she is a nasty woman.

I watch it w/ my roomies occasionally. The wife is scary. I'm not a fan of hers at all. She a one woman advertisement for me to stay single.

Wow! I can't believe all the strollers

That's small. You've seen the ones in Fantasyland haven't you?

I am anxious to hear about your dinner. I just cancelled our reservation for Spoodles.

People have mixed feelings about Spoodles. I think ScottNY had a change of heart during his last trip. He hated his first visit and liked his visit this last time.

My review coming up.

Finally caught up! Can you believe I was 9 updates behind :headache:

Which means you were about 1 and 1/2 weeks behind. I tend to post quickly.

My mom is American, dad is Canadian. Due to the fact that my dad is the navy I ended up spending half my childhood living in Canada and the other half in the States. So I truly am half-American, half-Canadian. I don't hold dual citizenship though I am told that I could get it really easily.

Thanks for clearing that up for me....:thumbsup2

I have to admit that I can kinda see why she is the way she is. It's one thing if one 3 year old makes a mess, but if you have to clean up after 6! Holy crap! If I were in her shoes I'd be in a padded cell sucking my thumb. That's just my take on it as a mom of 4.

Oh no! Poor poor baby (and you ;) )

Details about Baby J coming I think Day 9.

:rotfl2: Lesson learned??? :teeth:

I never learn my lesson when it comes to alcohol. Although I don't get sick anymore.

I'd like do that 'cept I'm too cheap :headache:

Thanks for sharing the spa pics!

Cha ching for sure. Massages are worth the money to me...but I haven't had a professional one since the DCL cruise in 05.

Hmmm...I don't remember that car there :confused3

When I was there in June I don't remember it being there either

yikes, can anyone tell me how to make the images in my sig smaller?

Looks like you got it figured out.

Hi Jordan! It's nice to know I can always count on you to be up late with me!

I took a looooooong nap this afternoon because I'm a bit under the weather so now I'm wide awake.

I agree with you Jordan. I'm sure there's some psycho guy out there just like her and, with my track record, I'd meet him :lmao:

So TGJ, when are you startiing your website?

Winkers---I totally agree with you and I only have 1 kid!

I think it's one of those "walk a mile in her/their shoes" sort of things. And not many of us have six 3 yr olds and two 6 yr olds to raise. To put in it prespective--it's not like she was slapping her disabled son at Disney...get my point???

Were were told by INS you can't have dual-citizenship? My hubby is from Nova Scotia, and is a permant alien resident right now. Working towards US citizenship. We would love for him to have dual.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Caught this show for the first and last time last night. DH said if I had said or done even 1/10th of the things she did we'd be divorced. She is a WITCH!

maybe i'm too sensitive but if me and ray talked to each other the way they do we'd be divorced. they're just so disgusted with each other all the time. i know that part of being married is the bickering, but it just seemed very nasty to me. it may be for show, too. anyway, i understand what winkers said about having 6 toddlers. well, actually, i don't totally understand because i don't nor never will i have 6 toddlers! and i've only seen that one episode, but her freaking out about that little dribble of ice cream was just ridiculous.

the amazing thing about them is that they love each other alot!!!!!! One of the ones I watched was a "reunion" show where they looked back on the last 3 seasons and reflected on some of the stuff shown on tape.

Jon says Kate has to be the way she is in order to make it through the day. so all you who have been saying that...you're right....

However, it takes a patient man to put up with that...and you wonder why I'm still single...;) :rolleyes1

I totally agree Jordan. That man is a saint.

I know that DBF wouldn't put up with that from me.

That's interesting, I have just been told by many and read that because my mom is an American citizen I have the right to American citizenship and that I would get it almost automatically if I applied, basically I wouldn't have to go through the same lengthy process that other immigrants would. I don't know for sure though as I have never really looked into it too much. It is only something I would really do if I were to move to the States permanently for work or marriage.

Jon is no saint either for sure. His laid back style sometimes sends Kate over the edge....and rightly so. But they complement each other so well...it works for them.

Maybe things changed since 9/11.

I have a friend working towards her US citizenship. She has been told that she can have dual US-Canadian citizenship. You guys might want to look into that again.

My husband is half US and half Canadian. He is able to have both. He got his US citizenship while we were going out. His dad is American. Also his best friend has both US and Canadian citizenship. He got his green card first and just got his US citizenship this past summer. So you should check into it. My father in law never became a Canadien citizen because way back when you couldn't keep your US one so he never did it but now you can have both.

Chapter 44. Wednesday, February 6th. Day 7. Part 8. Spoodles and the rest of the night. Jordan and Kim's night.

So when we last left you. I was sprawled out in the Drawing Room at the BCV.

Kim and I did the quick change (although I think I snuck in some Stacy and Weather Channel while Kim was getting ready) and made our way to the Boardwalk and Spoodles.

The were doing some renovation of the exterior of Spoodle which was kind of a bummer, but hey, we're eating inside...

We saw a couple who had just gotten married walking down the Boardwalk:

Here's the entrance to Spoodles:

We checked in and had about a 5 minute wait:
wdwfeb2008270.jpg

We got seated and were right next to this huge support column...but we were right next to the open kitchen which was really cool.

Here's Kim:
wdwfeb2008271.jpg

Here's me. Say hello again to my double chin:
wdwfeb2008272.jpg

They bring you some bread and dipping sauce right off the bat, but we also ordered a Meditteranean dip plate as well...great presentation.
wdwfeb2008274.jpg

I had the steak kebabs:
wdwfeb2008275.jpg

Kim had the rigatoni:
wdwfeb2008276.jpg

We were stuffed, but of course on the DDP you get dessert. We just got one:
The cheesecake was the BEST we've ever tasted....light...slightly nutty...
wdwfeb2008277.jpg

We had a great meal. REVIEW: Steak Kebabs: excellent, but you have to like a different flavor spicing. Rigatoni w/ sausage: excellent. Cheesecake: the best. Service: okay. Our server had a party of 20 and they were kind of demanding. Kim and I both said it was our favorite meal so far.

After dinner we wanted to head over to World Showcase. On our way over, Kim discovered her pass was in the room. So we head over to the BCV and then into Epcot. It was about 8pm and we decided to see O Canada. I like the updated version, but also miss the old outdated one too.

We got out of the show at 8:40pm and Kim really wanted to see Illuminations. You know me and fireworks and/or parades....but what the heck, it's not like we were going to doing anything else (my drink/drinks at ESPN could wait...:rolleyes1 )

We actually got a good viewing spot right near Canada along the waterfront.
I only took one picture...well...I actually took several, but none of them came out so I deleted them..Here's one of the "better" ones:
wdwfeb2008278.jpg

After Illuminations we went to ESPN. My buddy Matt was working so we were well taken care of. Kim had a Diet Coke and rum? One is her limit (remember that). After her one, I escorted her back to the room; hung out for a few minutes and then went back to ESPN for my alone time.

I paced myself a bit better tonight....After ESPN closed, I went to the Atlantic Dance Hall for one more drink and I just hung out on the Boardwalk for another hour.

wdwfeb2008280.jpg

No drunks tonight. Well, actually there were alot of drunks. None of them happened to see the sign above my head saying "talk to me" tonight. So I was in solitude.

I was able to reflect on one week spent at WDW. I couldn't believe a week had already passed. I WAS happy, however, that I was only half way through my vacation.

I, as always, tried to get some night time pix of the Boardwalk/Yacht and Beach Club. They came out pretty good so I think I was pretty sober...;)

I think you can make out Spaceship Earth in this one:

I strolled back to the room at about 2am...

Next up: Wendy and Derek and Erin and Dylan's night. After that update: A trip summary of the first 7 days

DH and I stayed at the Boardwalk in Sept and saw a lot of couples get married. I thought it was a beautiful area for a small wedding.
Isn't it amazing how much you can rack up in drinks...most of the charges on our card was from alchohol...:scared1: . Luckily it will be our one and only trip like that since next time we go we will have kids--until the kids are 21 at least but then the cost would be double since there would be 4 of us---and I doubt when I am that old I can drink like I used to before I was pregnant...not that I drank alot but when you are on vacation it seems you have a drink with everything:rotfl2:

Awesome, that is good to hear.
