Is there any way to search for threads that youve started but just forgot to subscribe to??

Go into "Quick Links' top lright of screen, chose 'My Profile' from drop down
within there is a search --- "Find all threads started by (your name)"

But for me search hardly ever works.

hope this helps

I thought you were automatically subscribed to all threads you, yourself start. That isn't true?

But for me search hardly ever works.

Also, there may be a way to make the search work for you. On the main Dis page, towards the top, change your color scheme from DEFAULT to California Gold. You can also do this at the very bottom of each page. For some reason, that can help some users be able to use the search function.

The reality is that the search by username doesn't work. Every once in a while you may get lucky but it is very unlikely. You may be able to find it if you search by the topic the post was about.

It is best to set your default to automatically subscribe to each thread you post on. You can set that to no email notification if you want so you cut down on the volume of emails you get but still can find the threads in your Subscribed Threads list.

I used the Search by Username and it did work in the California Gold.

Are the forum IT administrators working on the search capabilities?

I'd like to know that too!

i figured it out on my own!!!!!
Go to Quick Links in the top right corner
Click on Edit Options
Scroll down to Messaging and Notification (2nd box)
Find Default Thread Subscription and change it to anything other than "Do Not Subscribe"
