We used to go to one in Okinawa when my boys were small - they called it the "flying bread place" because the chefs would flip slices of garlic toast around.

I never knew Vanderbilt was in Nashville.

I've never been to Nashville...I'm a huge country fan and hope to make it out there some day

I worked in Central California in the early 90's--Fresno. Heavy farming area.
They only had country music stations.

It's also the cleanest (no sex,violence, foul language) music generally speaking.

Dig--Garth, George, Kenny, Brooks and Dunn, all the women singers....

I will have to try these out. I don't mind Country music, it's just not the first thing I run for.....unless there's a particular song I like.

Country music is often very depressing or very inspirational. Both types served me well last year.

Jordan and I are among the 2% Asian country music fans. Ha ha. About had a heart attack when they took our only Los Angeles country station (KZLA) off the air. They replaced it with - get this - some pop/rock/dance music station - LIKE THERE'S NOT ENOUGH OF THOSE OUT HERE ALREADY. Sheesh.

Thankfully GoCountry 105.1 came out and booted my parents' favorite classical station (sorry mom and dad) and now we have our LA station back. Whew. Was going through withdrawals.

I love country music and I listen to it for a good portion of the day, but I have no idea who sings any of the songs. Unless it's Garth Brooks. It's a bummer when I want to buy a CD...I have no idea who sings which songs!

But name a rap or hip hop song and I can tell you who sings it, no problem. I don't know what's wrong with me!

Chapter 37. Wednesday, February 6th. Day 7. Part 1. What happened last night?

Okay I have to go back to the end of Day 6 and my time at ESPN Club. I forgot to say that Derek came with me for a few drinks. He ended up going back to the room. I think I kicked him to the curb.

I continued to drink....after ESPN Club closed, I went to Atlantic Dance which is always dead.....but still serving for another 1/2 hour to hour. I drank a few more.

I decided to camp out and enjoy the view. Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls closed and I just hung out....I noticed a VERY drunk man stumbling towards the Beach Club. He didn't look too good. So I ran over and I asked if he needed help.

He proceeded to tell me his whole job history with his current company. He was taking a group of managers on a cruise......the next day. . I must have that sign on above my head again saying "Tell me everything about you"

He had to stop a few times...I don't know what I would've done if he fell over. He was really big. I would've been like a squished bug.

I dropped him off at the Beach Club in the care of the Front Desk CM as he had forgotten his key somewhere.

Now here's where it gets a bit, okay alot fuzzy. I know I made it to the room........

Okay....flashforward (oops Lost reference), fast forward to Wednesday morning....

Wendy and RoboJo had spa appointments at the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin Resort.
