Can you take ME to a resort other than the one you're staying at?

Say, you're staying at POR and are due in to MCO at 8:35. You have a 10:30 ADR at the Polynesian. Can you take ME straight to the Polynesian, or do you have to go to POR first and get transportation from there?

No. DME only will transport you to and from the resort at which you are registered.

But a cab from POR to Poly will be much cheaper than any MCO->Poly alternatives.

Interesting question. I cannot see any reason why they wouldn't, in theory. But there are rules that need to be followed; I think it might come down to hoping you get a more imaginative CM at DME check-in upon arrival. I doubt that the DME person on the phone would be able to help with this; I expect you'll have to work this out when you arrive at the DME counter.

Hey, and if you aren't able to do it, just take the DME bus to POR and cab it over as Brian suggests.

I hope it works out for you!

THANKS, everyone! We may end up just eating at POR. It's a relaxing day so I don't want too much hassle. Just thought it might be fun to start right off with a character breakfast.
