Chapter 24. Monday, February 5th. Day 5. Part 2. Mojo Hybrid.

So I looked at the trip journal and we actually arrived at the International Gateway at 9:30am.....

We made a beeline for Soarin...I was the designated FP runner. I grabbed everyone's tix and ran ahead to get FPs. Luckily the machines weren't too bad and no one had to wait behind me while I got 7 FPs. Return time was about an hour and a half away...SCORE...my mojo was still kicking..

By the time I got out of the Land, the group had gone over to Nemo. I met up with Wendy, Kim, Josh and the kids, but Derek and RoboJo were lost. They were parking the strollers and we couldn't find them.

Was this to be the first real drama of the trip?

I had flashbacks to WDW arguments past.....

Jordan and Derek 2003-"The Consensus Argument"--Jordan fails to get everyone's opinion before making decisions.

Wendy and Jordan 2001-"Wendy's day o' Silence"--Jordan upsets Wendy and Wendy is silent for an entire day.

Jordan and Kim(another Kim)1999-"The Pretzel Search"--Kim makes Jordan look for a pretzel for an hour and a half....Seriously.

Jordan and Derek 1997-"The Meditteranean Food Argument"--Jordan and Derek disagree on what makes food Meditteranean....

Jordan and Brett 1992-"I Don't Really Like You That Much"-Wendy's then-boyfriend and Jordan don't really like each other......

I could just see it now.....Words flying back and forth..."Why didn't you wait....you were supposed to be here...why didn't you answer the phone...."

Wendy, Kim, Josh and kids just rode Nemo....

When we got off....Derek and Robo were right behind us....

Both were smiling..........No fights.... All my worrying for nothing.

We went immediately over to Turtle Talk w/ Crush....Josh and RoboJo had never seen it. They both loved it. I think I may have seen DISer, Coach81. But I lost him as people were exiting Crush...

We walked around for awhile....

Baby J was out......

I didn't have to use the bathroom, but you know me......just curious.
The restrooms at the Seas was very small, but clean....It gets a Double Flush from me....

After Nemo and Crush, we decided to hit up SSE since our time for Soarin hadn't quite come up.

Everyone liked the updates. I did my duty and ran to get FPs for Test Track.
Return time was only an hour away....Score again. At least the mojo was still there....

I walked over to Soarin and actually had to use the restroom this time...so I stopped at these. Located near the Character Connection building on the Land side, I found these surpsingly large, clean and quiet....Single flush here No stuff hanging around after that first flush....

After the nice restroom experience and the good return time for TT, I was feeling quite chipper. I walked over to find Derek, Josh, Dylan and Baby Jordan hanging out in the shade. The girls had gone on Soarin...

Here's where the MOJO has to take a backseat. I'm sure w/o kids, we could've accomplished things much faster, but having to do the kid switch neccessitates a different pace. You just accept more hanging out. It actually gave all of us time to just talk and RELAX.....

The girls came out and Derek, Josh and I went in....Josh had never been. He LOVED it. He was very impressed.

On our way out, the girls had gone over to the Electric Umbrella to get a table. Derek got the stroller...apparently both Dylan and Erin walked and I went with Josh to show him the "single flush" restroom.

Josh and I made it over to the Electric Umbrella.

We eat at this restaurant alot. We always sit upstairs. So Josh and I head upstairs and sure enough, everyone is already seated. RoboJo and Wendy had got the kids food already. Josh, Derek and I went back downstairs to get food....

The lines were super long......BUT for some reason our line moved very quickly. Score again...Line Mojo....

We had a nice meal....

All of our cameras came out and picture snapping commenced...I'm sure people were thinking...."typical asians"

After a hearty meal, we packed up:

Kim had The Toenail Break of 2008. She already had a cracked toenail when she got her mani/pedi ( did I get that right?). She hit something and her toenail came off....She didn't care about the toenail...She was ticked because she had just spent alot of money on the mani/pedi....Priorities.
Here she is doing an emergency Toenail fix.

With everyone ready to Toe, I mean go, we were off to Test Track.

So looking back on our start at Epcot....I realized that MOJO took on a different form.....ergo....Mojo Hybrid

I, too, suffered from plowing into my food before remembering to take pictures. I love me some food. Love the picture of your burger with that mutilated bun on top

Loved the arguments of WDW past. I think I read about most of those in your PTR but it was fun and funny to get a refresher.

I think we will try out Electric Umbrella for lunch in May. Past 2 trips we didn't try it.

Great update. I giggled the entire time.

Just a warning about Electric Umbrella, we don't eat there because we particularly like the food. It's just convenient and only 1 of 2 Counter Service locations in Future World.

Poor Kim and her toenail problems. That is the worst! Next time she can buy a bottle of the polish that was used and carry it. Then she can touch up chipped polish.

I am trying to eat better. Heart disease runs in the family. No soda, fried food, processed sugar......

Vegetarian are you? I've had some great veggie meals at WDW.
