I'm still trying to decide if I'm being compared to a gorilla's behind.

I showed him that picture of your "guys" at the fountain and told him these were the people we were probably going to bump into in May. His response...."hey look, there's room for me and ds right there!"

Looks like you had a good time drinking! Gotta love alcoholic beverages.
I noticed that you're a big fan of vodka. Well so am I. You should find a reason to make a trip to NYC (maybe a convention? see Little Mermaid on Broadway?) and visit the Russian Vodka Room. It's the best place. Jazz music and homemade flavor-infused vodka. They have every flavor, including garlic It's a fun place. Oh and they have food there too, but can't remember what was on the menu Just don't order Grey Goose. I was yelled at for ordering French vodka in a Russian restaurant.

The Russian Samovar is across the street. Great vodka there also. See a theme here?

Wow....I thought I was the only Lutheran left. My kids go to Lutheran schools too. I was there the same time as you guys it was just hard for me to arrange meet ups with my parents and kid with me.

The opposite--pretty conservative, although we do have a woman head pastor.

Churches serve WINE regularly and Lutherans serve when ever posssible!

Nice view from Kim's window! Hmmm...how to go about swinging BC sometime?!?! Maybe that will be my treat in the crazy-out-of-my-mind-why-don't-I-take-the-nieces-and-nephews-on-my-own idea that keeps floating around in my head.

Yeah! Wendy has arrived. The gang's all here and we're ready to roll. Bring on day2/day5, Flat Winkers and the fun that will ensue.

What do they give you at Communion Grape juice!! The communion wine is actually the only alcohol I drink but I have fun watching others who do partake !!

I don't even drink the wine during communion. The thought of drinking from the same goblet as who knows how many is icky to me.

Evan has his first communion this year. You're all invited to his party afterward. Bring good gifts.

Free Methodist here. My grandfather founded the church I attend now in the early 1920s. He started with 5 ladies meeting for a Bible Study. My uncle, dad and SIL have also served at this church...

I know it was hard to meet with other DISers because I too was travelling with a group....

Chapter 22. Sunday, February 3rd. Day 4. Part 7. Finally the day ends.

So....after getting settled in da bomb Villa, Kim and I ran down to the Marketplace for a sandwich...I think I had the Ham and Cheese and Kim had the Turkey. They were both good.

Joanne called and said they would be up to watch the game. Josh, Joanne and Baby J came up and her friends came a bit later.

Joanne and her friend went to Boardwalk to Go to grab some fast food.

Josh, Steve (Joanne's friend's DH) and I settled in and watched the game.

The girls, Joanne and Lira, came back with food.

Around the 3rd quarter, Wendy and gang came in.....

We hung out...Wendy, Derek and kids also got stuff from the Marketplace.

So at some point during the game, Derek checks out the balcony, but the lock doesn't work. He calls someone to take a look at it. Joanne goes over and fiddles with it and fixes it.

She also fixed something else....so we called her RoboJo.........

RoboJo's friends left right after the game was over.

Josh and JoJo left around 10:30pm

We hit the sack early............

Chapter 23. Monday, February 4th. Day 5. Part 1. The waiting is the hardest part.

So my hope was to get to Epcot by rope drop.

Kim goes out for a run at some God forsaken hour..she comes back around 7:30am.

I get up and wander around Derek is up and so is Wendy. The kids are still asleep.

I shower and get ready.

The kids get up....and are ready quickly

RoboJo, Josh and Baby J get to our room by 8:45am.

Looks good......

However, we are in the middle of eating our "breakfast". I use that term loosely.

Wendy's breakfast of choice, Pop Tarts. I may have had a banana and some OJ.

and we just kind of hung out:

So I tried some stuff on my camera:

We head out the door and are on our way about 9:30. No rope drop today.....

We get outside and Wendy has forgotten..her camera? her tix? I can't remember. So we park it:

Wendy comes back and we head out again.

As we are walking, we are laughing at JoJo's new nickname, RoboJo.

Then Kim comments the RoboJo kind of looks like this contestant that was on American Gladiators (Kim, I just outed your love of that show). This contestant's name was Venus....

So for about 2 seconds, we called RoboJo..Venus...until out her own mouth comes this nickname...VeJoJo.........

We died laughing right there. We decided to stick w/ RoboJo.

We finally made it to the International Gateway around 9:45am
