:lmao: Okay, that's too weird and funny!

You confused me there at first...did she say that already??? I had to go back and look and I can't believe we said pretty much the SAME thing!:rotfl:

You can tell we're mommies right?

It was definitely a Twilight Zone moment.

You hope it was Dole Whip.......

:scared1:  I never even thought about that...;)

I love the pictures. The view was great . Wendy you children are just too cute. Thanks for the update. :surfweb:

They are pretty well behaved.

How nice that they left you something to snack on:lmao:

I got rock cuts on my tongue.

Holy Cow! I miss like 12 hours and I missed 7 pages?! AHHH..Be right back..........:surfweb:

I know the feeling all too well from Buzz's thread.

WTH!! You were`nt subbed before? Where have you been Mister! This IS THE new place to BE!!

Can you believe that? I thought he had, but I only got back 3 week ago and he's been sick for a few and then on vacation...So, I'll cut him some slack.

Especially since he deserted his own trippie for awhile....:rotfl:

He's back full force now...

I haven't been around much because KC's schedule changed and hes working from home a lot...but I wanted to pop in and say HI!!!! Hope you're feeling better!

Kat...and KC....Thanks for stopping by.....

At the same time? :rolleyes1

Ed, nope.....just got back...NOW I'm ready for a beer......

Although I have to say, no one can do white rice like an Asian.....:thumbsup2

How about if you were taught to make rice by an Asian? Can't eat the American kind any more.

I bet cajuns can. We eat white rice everyday in South Louisiana. :thumbsup2 Come visit and I will cook you some rice and gravy.

It's white, but is it sticky? :goodvibes

:lmao: :rotfl2: :flower3:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That's funny, I don't care who you are!

i was trying to get Winkers closer to the behind of the gorilla........:rolleyes1

Oh good lord! I hope you got her a noseplug

Yes, but isn't that better than sitting on the wet ground? Hee hee.

We actually had our regular shuttle driver take us. Because 1) on the way back, we'd have Kim with us so our car can't fit 6 plus luggage and strollers and 2) the shuttle folks will keep our car seats for the week and bring them back in the van when then pick us up. So we just opted to do that both ways. And yes, raining in the a.m. so we were really looking forward to sunny FL.

Tiger, whom she saw hardly any of during the week because when she misbehaved, that got taken away from her. So pretty much Tiger spent the week on the TV cabinet or in the suitcase. Mean mommy that I am.

So if his blanket is Leapster... what's he going to do if you get him a Leapster game?? Ohhhh, the dilemma...

To elaborate on the story... (thanks for starting it Jordan)

Plane ride was fairly good (read: uneventful). We had three seats together on one side (me, Erin, Dylan) and then Derek had the middle seat on the other side. Fortunately, both kids slept :woohoo: for a good portion of the flight (maybe 2.5 hours) so that was GREAT.

Got to MCO, bypassed baggage claim (whoo hoo) went to the ME counter and got in line. Not too long of a line... got on the bus with about 15 others. Was weird to arrive at night - usually it's during the day. Watched the video on the way to the resort... arrived, checked in, and came "home" to a houseful of people (everyone plus RoBoJo's friend and her family...). So slightly different entry experience than Jordan (the ahhhhh of an empty room) but still, we were there and that's all that counts. So we settled in (for a long winter's nap... oh wait, wrong story) and checked out the fridge (fully stocked! :thumbsup2 ). I think then we went down to the Marketplace to get dinner (roast beef and brie - and turkey mozzarella - yum) then I think we pretty much relaxed and turned in after that.

Dylan was not so much interested in the pack n' play so for the bulk of the week there were 4 of us sharing the bed. Four people sleeping vertically, horizontally, diagonally, etc. It was like we were spelling letters out signaling airplanes flying overhead. Ha ha ha. At least we weren't spelling "SOL" instead of "SOS". (test: anyone know what that's from???? I'll be impressed if you do. Well, maybe not. It's really not that hard.)

Ok, thus ends the Okada report for day 1.

We slept all four of us, plus the dog on a double in Okinawa for 2 years - as soon as the boys were out of cribs they found us! When we came back, we got a King. They "found" us every night until they were each 10 - lots of "feet in your face" nights - went by so fast!

I'm having trouble keeping up - don't get too far ahead tomorrow - K?

Chapter 19. Sunday, February 3rd. Day 4. Part 5. I guess I'm the keeper of the pix now.

Kim sent me a few of her pix from Sunday and Wendy is just too busy and too tired in the evenings to get to the computer.

So they left it to me to post some of their pix......

Here are a few of Kim's pix from Sunday:

She took a picture of me waiting for her to get her Dole Whip. Do I look happy? I'm sitting on hard, porous, spiky rock....Notice the people around me. No one looks happy....They're all waiting for that line to move....

And here's the view from the window that Kim was looking out of:

Here are some pix from Wendy's collection:

Here's Dylan:

Here's Erin and Tiger (What? A non-Disney stuffed animal?):

Here's Dylan watching TV while Wendy's checking in:

Oh Jordan, you so don't look happy! But, at least, you were sitting on a hard, porous, spiky rock at Disney! Anyplace else, you would have looked really miserable :).

Beautiful view! Kim, no wonder you were soaking it all in!

Wendy, your children are beautiful!!! They look like they are so excited! I had to laugh at the picture of Dylan watching tv -- I don't care what doctors say, sometimes television is the BEST way to get a moment to think! :rotfl:

The Beer's Prayer
Our lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
Thy will be drunk,
(I will be drunk),
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer, The bitter and The lager.
Forever and ever,

The Barkeep

It's amazing what you find when you google.....

That's hilarious!:rotfl:

Nice view from Kim's window! Hmmm...how to go about swinging BC sometime?!?! Maybe that will be my treat in the crazy-out-of-my-mind-why-don't-I-take-the-nieces-and-nephews-on-my-own idea that keeps floating around in my head. :scratchin

Yeah! Wendy has arrived. The gang's all here and we're ready to roll. Bring on day2/day5, Flat Winkers and the fun that will ensue.

Chapter 21. A little break while I'm at work.

I have to go to work right now, but I thought I'd leave you with some pix from the college get together I had immediately following my WDW vacation

It was in Northern California about 30 minutes south of San Francisco at my friend Randy's home.

I think 12 of us got together from our freshman year. We were all the in the same dorm freshman and sophomore year. Many of us lived together junior and senior year. We have all stayed in contact for the last 27 years and try and get together once a year. People came as far away as DC.

We were the party group in the dorms and obviously old habit die hard.....

Here you go....

I don't even drink the wine during communion. The thought of drinking from the same goblet as who knows how many is icky to me.

Evan has his first communion this year. You're all invited to his party afterward. Bring good gifts. ;)
