Not sure about the 4 star thing...Hotwire does change ratings fairly often....usually moving properties up for no apparent reason. However the best way to identify the Hyatt on Hotwire in the MCO zone is the fact that it is the only 3+ star place in that zone that does not have a shuttle icon.
I got it in Sept. It was exactly as posted on betterbidding's list:I've been doing a little research, and it looks to me like some of the hotels that used to be 3.5 are now showing as 4. Also, I'm thinking, but not sure, that the Hyatt might be the 4 star that says customer favorite, and then down at the bottom it has 4.5 out of 5 stars. There's another 4 star that comes up, but it doesn't say customer favorite, and it only has I think 3 out of 5 stars. The star ratings clue was brought up in a post earlier this year.
If anybody has gotten Hyatt recently on Hotwire, please post details.
Just did hotwire for a hotel near MCO for 3/12 (late arriving flight). Best deal was a 4 star WITH shuttle icon AND customer favorite tab at a whole $89/night!! Took it and low and behold, it WAS the HYATT!! Total with tax and fees is a whopping $105.75.....
I didn't know you could book without an account.I didn't make an account on Hotwire, but I checked again using the same criteria as I did last night and the same 4 star, Customer Favorite, and Best Value option is still available, except at $93 now. The amenities are Airport shuttle, pool, fitness center, restaurant, business center, and hi-speed internet. When you click on the ratings guide, Hyatt is listed under the Distinctive 4 star hotels list.
