So, we all have our great Baggallini's, Overlands, Vera's or what have you. Now the question...what do you take with you?

I have myself, DH, DBIL and 2 DS's (ages 9 and 7 at time of travel).

Here is what I came up with so far, and I'm adding as posts are made!

ponchos for all
camera/batteries/extra memory cards
video camera
motrin
bandaids/moleskin
waterbottle/crystal light packs
hand wipes/hand sanitizer
my epipen (not that everyone needs this!)
small notebook
daily index card (park hours, UO touring plan, ADR's)
sunscreen
ziploc bags
money/Key to the Kingdom
lipbalm

what else????

Backpack
Some of the "Blister" Band-aids ( cushioned with medicine, and they stay on well)
"Croc's" (best shoes for walking WDW)::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::
and CLOTHES.. did not see any on the list !!!!::blush: :lmao:
If you plan to do laundry onsite.. your own detergent and softner.

This is just my "park bag" list! Not taking clothes and detergent to the parks :)

Don't forget sunblock, sun glasses and hats/visors!

Got the sunscreen on there, I figure the glasses/hats will be on, so I didn't count them in the "bag" - but certainly don't want to forget them!

extra batteries and cards for the camera

everyone says ziplock bags, not really sure why though!

lip balm

This is so you can quickly put in your digital cameras/cellphones/ipods etc before you go on any of the water rides (Kali River Rapids to name one) and your expensive electronic equipment won't get soaked and damaged.

COOL!!!! Thanks!
my bag is "water repllant!"

You're very welcome. Although I should also note that in my own experience, "water repellant" has not always equated with "water proof", so it might be a good idea to be doubly safe in the long run.

Dont forget the sunshades, even for the little ones. That florida sunshine can be murder on the eyes.:cool2:

We found that we didn't need much, but that backpack sure was more comfy than lugging around my purse!

We brought (& used):
-Sunglasses
-Camera (w/extra batteries)
-Homemade basic first aid kit (blister block, bacatracin, bandaids, piece of moleskin, pepto bismol tabs, ibuprofin)
-Travel sized hand lotion
-Travel sized sunscreen
-Chapstick
-Wallets
-Cell phones
-Palm Pilot (has all our trip & itinerary info stored on it)

Zip lock bags are for food the kids don't eat at lunch but might eat later. Also make sure you have wipes for sticky fingers.

Dang, I feel underprepared. I take 2 ziplock baggs. One for my camera and one for my wallet. I take my camera and some sunglasses. everything else I am to lazy to carry.

I just love reading all the great tips. I will definetly take ziploc bags for cameras. DD had to buy a new digital camera last year after a trip to a park in PA. Camera was in the bottom of her purse and still got wet enough to ruin it. I had not thought of the leftovers...Great idea!

Don't forget your photo pass. Especially if you pre-purchased the cd. :thumbsup2 We always carry a small brush in our bag too.

Great idea! I didn't think to put my camera in a ziploc. We're going in August, so I better make sure to pack some.
