Baggalini Pics

I was hoping some of you might have your own personal pictures of wearing the baggalini messenger bag I keep hearing so much about. I'm really torn about buying it. I have an unhealthy bag obsession and I really want it, but I just bought like 3 (none similar to this one, though!) and I think my boyfriend will hurt me if I buy another one! We're running out of closet space. Anyway, back on topic... The only thing I'm worried about is that it will be TOO big. I don't like to carry around a ton of stuff, but the bag I use now is a little too small. I was hoping to see what they looked like on and out and about to sway me one way or the other. I'll probably have to hide it for awhile, at least until it blends in with the growing collection! ;o) I know they have a few pictures online, but I'd like to see yours from WDW. Thanks!

Are you trying to see it for compartment size? I am looking through my photobucket right now. My pictures mostly show me wearing it where it is on my back or sitting next to me. I will post a few just in case.

Just for a frame of reference, I am only about 5' 1". I found the bag to be a great size and easy to organize. The only negative was that the adjustable strap did have a tendency to slide. I am going to put a pin on it this summer. I used carabiner clips to put Pal Mickey onto the bag and keep the pouches closed. The pouches did not open, but they would make it unattractive to a dishonest person.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

where do you order it? how much does it cost?

You can sometimes get them on ebay; I got mine at REI outlet, but I don't see any there right now. I've also heard about EBags (sp?). Do a search here on the DIS for "baggallini" (2 g's, 2 l's) for more info...

I just bought mine!!! :goodvibes And the code still worked along with the free shipping!!! :woohoo:
Now, to find a place to hide it from my DH...

thanks! can you buy them in a store rather than online?

I've seen them in stores, but the messenger bag retails for close to $40, so usually you can find better deals online. I'd recommend you try to find one in a store to see if it's comfy, then buy it online.

Thanks for the pictures! I am just trying to see what it looks like on the average person. My problem is that I am fairly tall and sometimes can have a hard time getting bags with straps like this to fall correctly. In some of the pics online it looks so huge and like it adds a foot to the back of you. I like the second pic of yours. It makes it seem like it doesn't extend out so far which is what I was really concerned about.

It really isn't a large bag. When I ordered mine about this time last year, I did so because of all the great reviews. When I opened the box, I thought now how am I going to fit everything we need in here! I considered returning it. It actually was the perfect size. I could fit 4 ponchos (2 adult, 2 child), snacks, hand wipes, small containers of medicine, chap stick, cell phone, money, autograph pages, markers, pen, pressed penny tubes, and credit cards. I was also able to hook things to it with carabiners - Pal Mickey facing front and the small mister fans from Wal-Mart on the back. You can also hook your lime green Mickey on the outside.

This picture might give an additional perspective. I had the bag slung a bit low because I had moved it forward to dig in it.

OK, here is one more I found. This is a less than flattering angle that my husband got, but it might show what you are looking for.

That is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for! Thank you so much! From your pics, the size looks much more manageable than the ones I have seen online on the models.

Glad I could help... the nice part about the small size is it keeps you from over packing. You only bring what you need.

What fits into it?

I love the bag but want to make sure everything twe need will fit in there!

I just got one from the REI outlet at a ridiculous price (if only you were looking for this bag last week!), and right now I'm carrying a wallet, my Canon S3, and my calendar book in the main compartment. There are two zippered compartments outside of that, a velcro pocket on one size, mesh pocket on the other, and a zippered (with mesh pocket inside) compartment on the front strap for a cell phone or cash. It's bigger than I thought it was, but much more comfortable than the smaller REI bag I was using as purse/camera bag.

If I get pix later I'll post them.

I used my bag for the first time last year and loved it. I kept the room card and photopass cards in the strap pocket.
I also had:
a camera
maps
touring plans (on paper)
wet wipes (NECESSITY)
hand sanitizer (another necessity)
bandaids for just in case
cellphone (don't store next to room keys or credit cards - the cards will deactivate)
snacks which we never ate
water bottle

The water bottle made it a tad heavy but we drank it so no biggie. I also put everything in baggies just in case I got wet. My DH also carried it around so I wasn't the pack mule the whole time. ;)
