Low Cost motel/hotel near WDW?

We're driving to WDW this June. We'd like to catch a low cost motel the night before we hit WDW. We've been looking at places online. However, we aren't able to determine if they are very close to WDW or not. We found a Comfort Inn and couple others that claim to be close to WDW.

Can someone who knows the area and the motels around there lend some advice? We want a place that is VERY value, has a pool, and is as close as we can get. < $100/night

Thanks

Watch travelzoo.com for good rates. Also check out the Orlando Magic Card to for hotel discounts. I am booked at the Fairfield Inn and Suites on Canada Avenue off I-drive for 80.00 dollars a night for July 3-6 th. I was surprise they let book the rate for the holiday weekend. I glad they did. The hotel comes with a free breakfast and has good reviews on tripadvsior.com . I have stay on the same street there is plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Want to look in the Lake Burea Vista area for WDW offsite hotels.

I agree with you and the Fairfield Inn is a very good hotel at that price is a very good option:yay: :cheer2:

Anything in the Lake Buena Vista area is very close to WDW. We never stay onsite, and usually stay in Lake Buena Vista, somewhere along Apopka-Vineland or Palm Parkway because both areas are very convenient to WDW.
Sheraton Safari is our favourite hotel, and we have stayed there twice before checking in to the condos we rented for the remainder of the stay. We have booked SS through deals we found on www.travelzoo.com

Right now there are some excellent deals to be had at www.hotelsrus.com. It is a booking site for UK travellers, but I believe we can book from it as well. Make sure you change the currency to US Dollars, as it defaults to GBP.

i tried hotelsrus. this may seem like a dumb question, but how do you get a quote for 2 adults 3 kids? it asks if you want a double, triple etc, but keeps telling me one kid per room? How did you do it fayew?I did change the currency etc. thanks! Beth
