Floorplan for CR 14th floor standard?

Anyone have a floorplan for a 14th floor tower club standard (preferably with 2 beds)? I've seen some pics but can't figure out if there's a bath tub or not.

Also, it looks like these rooms don't have the same furnishings (i.e. build-in TV cabinet) that some of the other rooms do, or didn't as of early 2007. Have they changed since then?

The rooms on the 14th floor did not gell the full renovation that all the other Tower and South Garden Wing rooms got. I am not sure about their new furnishings, but from the pictures I have seen they do not have the flat screen tv's.

Just got back from 6 nights on the 14th floor - standard room (4913). It has a bathtub, with a shower head on the wall for either/or. No built in cabinent, plasma TV sits on the dresser/drawer unit. I don't have a floorplan, but it's pretty basic - entryway w/double closet, doorway to bathroom (separate vanities and toilet) two queens on the side, desk w/computer on the other. Little bigger room than the usual size - nice balcony. AWESOME view. View is what the price is for. Nice concierge lounge (little small, but there is hardly anybody on the floor - only 14 rooms). We saw two other people the entire stay - we had the lounge/staff to ourselves. :)

Thanks, Piglet! Great information. That's exactly the room I'm hoping for. :)

BTW, were there two sinks?

The 14th floor rooms are AWSOME!! :thumbsup2 The balcony is HUGE!! Bit of advice, tie a balloon or two on your deck to keep the nasty (pooping) birds away.;) The bathroom is so large!!

There are two sinks - one is in the "main" bathroom with the tub/shower, and the other is in the separate "toilet room". Both are full size deep sinks. Bathroom is nicely sized-spaced out. Kimberle is correct - birds (especially seagulls) do visit these balconies - a word of advice - do NOT take food onto the balconies when there are birds visiting - they are conditioned for that - they will NOT leave and obviously, the longer they stay, better chance to leave you a little present.:rotfl:

We had a very nice stay - make sure you request a MK view when you book, then follow up with the concierge a few days prior to arrival, and reiterate when you arrive - I think you'll get what you want. The concierge staff was very good - they frequently left little presents for our 3 year old (balloons, candy, even a "autographed" picture from Mickey personalized for our son. They were very professional and very attentive.

I think the novelty of the visiting birds will wear RIGHT off. Blech. Good to know there are two bathroom areas; that was going to be something I really missed from VWL.

Thanks, Minnie - I've actually seen that one. I think I should have said "Room layout" instead of floor plan. :)

I do wonder where that 14th floor plan came from. It's interesting to see the room numbers associated with the booking codes!

So from the floor plan it looks like there is only 2 standard rooms with 2 queen beds on the Magic Kingdom view side. Am I right??? If so Then I guess I will have a slim chance of getting a MK view on 14th. floor, huh?

Actually there are 4 standard rooms with the Magic Kingdom view. Those rooms 4911, 4912, 4193 and 4915 and the only standard room on the Bay Lake side room room #4905. I am sure you know the only way you can try to get a Magic Kingdom view is by requesting it, since you can not make a specific reservation for it the way you can with a regular Magic Kingdom view on the other floors in the Tower, or with any of the suites on the 14th floor. I will say with the 4 Magic Kingdom views in the standard rooms you have a better chance of getting that view, however there is always the chance you might not end up with it.

I have to have a room with (2) queen beds instead of (1) king bed. I will be keeping my fingers cross for MK view. I did request it, but you know how that goes. Is it true that " The Early Bird Gets The Worm"?

This is just a guess here but with only 4 standard Magic Kingdom views and two of those rooms have the 2 Queen beds, either they will be taken when you check-in or one or both of them will be available. I hope you end with the Magic Kingdom view, however if you don't you can still see it anytime you want from the lounge. I know it's not the same as seeing from your room, but it's better then staying on a regular floor with the Bay Lake view and seeing the Magic Kingdom from the 4th floor observation deck.

4915 does not have a tub. It has a roll-in shower as it is a handicap-accessible room, if that matters to you......

Interesting that Disney didn't fully upgrade the 14th floor rooms. Are the CL rooms bigger?

Linda did you find this one the web? If so can you post it. Curious to see the lower floors lay out. I'm hoping to get on the 10th or 11th floor this coming trip.

Thanks
Jamie

Sorry,

I have serched the web for floor plans of the lower levels of the CR tower but I only found the floor plans for the 14th floor. I did find the floor plans convention center of the CR if anyone is interested in those.

Just to give you an idea of how big they are we would keep our full size stroller, open not closed up, in the bathroom and it was never in the way.

Those bathrooms are huge!!

We've been in 4911 and 4912. 4911 only has a shower stall, it also has a bidet. 4912 has both a shower stall and a tub/shower.

The balcony and view are amazing. We've never found the concierge lounge crowded and the concierge staff is the best we've experienced!
