Food Court @ POFQ

I just booked for Aug16-23 :yay: . I've been reading that the food court is really small . Last time we stayed @ POP & I really enjoyed the food court esp. being able to buy milk, juice, bagels, etc to take back to the room for every one(I'm the early riser in the family). Does POFQ have something similar?

The food court @ POFQ has milk, juice, bagels, fruit, cereal.. etc. There is a bakery window that makes fresh beignets, they are awesome. There is also a small gift shop where you can buy beverages and snacks too.

There were plenty of items you could take back to your room. It was a small food court, but had all your basics and a few southern type items.

The square footage may be smaller than the square footage of the food court at Pop, but they are similar in the foods offered and the number of individual food stalls. Pop has about twice as many rooms as POFQ, and hence the size difference between the 2 food courts.

But you can buy just as much at POFQ, if not more.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad to hear I'll have no trouble providing breakfast for the sleepy heads.

what he said!! ;)

we actually found POFQ's food court to be one of the best...

I found POFQ to be more than adequate. I'm not sure what people mean when they say it's too small - which it isn't. Plus, there's tables outside that you can bring your trays out to which is also very nice. They have all types of food that you would expect at a food court - all breakfast type items, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, steaks, fries, chicken fingers, etc. for lunch and dinner. If you think that's not enough variety then you've got much bigger issues.

I agree, it's a very good food court. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They have coloring pages for the kids they can hang up or bring back to the room. They even have something at night where the kids can decorate cookies. It was great on a rainy night. It was right after dinner time. You can ask in the food court about it. The kids each wore an apron and then decorated with different color iceings. Lot's of fun and free!

I stayed at POFQ last year for three nights. The night we arrived we stayed at POP and moved over to POFQ for the rest of our stay. I will say that I was extremely disappointed in POFQ food court compared to POP. In my opinion there is no comparison. Everytime we went to the food court we had to wait atleast twenty minutes in line and then wait for our food. The tables were either full or a mess. We found the staff at POFQ was very rude and it was quite obvious they did not want to be there and were in no hurry to prepare our meals. Maybe it was a bad week but I can tell you it was the first week in May. The parks were not that crowded at this time of year. I've stayed at most all disney resorts and this was the smallest food court. It will offer the basic things you need. The grounds are pretty here but we thought the food court was lacking.

POFQ is great, has quite a few stations which results in a variation of food! The seating area is never packed when we've stayed there three years ago and last summer, both in August!!

Enjoy!!

It's fine for the size of the resort, I've never had any problems getting what I wanted or long waits.

Me either, but then I've only eaten there twice. One was lunch at 3pm, the other was a snack of beignets. I don't think I'd take them back to the room, they make quite a mess.
