DisneyNDecember ........ I am terribly curious ...... Have you ever actually seen the WL lobby .... IN PERSON ???

As much as all those photos are truly beautiful .... You would never believe the beauty when you see it all in person. I remember taking photos there at such awesome beauty that I kept tearing up a bit just looking at the beauty of the place.

You will love it there !!

No, I have never seen it in person. My son & I go once a year & have always stayed at the value resorts & are always so busy going "commando" style thru the parks, that we have not taken the time to enjoy & tour this resort. But now my son is older & we want to enjoy the beach, the little boats you can rent (2 seaters), & just sit back & relax on the boat ride to the Magic Kingdom. We have looked at all the sites out there with photos, Trip Advisor, All Ears, ....... We are both just so excited, we can't sit still. And best of all, we get to soak it all in during the Christmas decorations/holidays. We arrive 11/30 thru 12/07/08. Please share any photos you may have, inside, outside, room photos, bathroom,...... We will take anything.

Thank you both for the great photos. I love the beach photo & the photos of the beds. I always love the room photos- the beds, refrigerator, bathroom--- the place where your head will be sleeping to enjoy it all the next morning!

If anyone ever needs photos for Pop Century, I have tons of those uploaded under a Pop Thread. I promise when we return home to Texas on 12/08/08, I will return the gracious replies I have received with plenty of photos of my own. Hopefully we will continue to get MORE photos of Wilderness Lodge for all the other addicts out there.

okay it's official.............i'm soooooooooooooooooooooo staying there. Just not telling dh how much it costs... I deserve a nice vacation, haven't had one in 4 years. I'm getting so excited.

We will be at VWL 11/27-12/06, so we will be there about the same time!!! The Christmas decorations will blow you away!
Be sure to take in the sleigh ride at the lodge, it is well worth it!!

Great time of year to go, we always go the 1st or 2nd week of December (always choosing the non-PopWarner week) & this is our first stay at Wilderness Lodge. Thanks for the tip, hopefully we can keep this thread going & get even more photos!

There is a sleigh ride too??? We are going Dec. 7-Dec. 13 and have a bunkbed courtyard view at the WL. It will be my 6 year olds first trip to Disney. I am just loving the Christmas pic's!!! Does anybody have more? I can't wait to get there!!!!!

THANK YOU FOR STARTING THIS THREAD & FOR ALL THE PICTURES!! Im getting more and more excited as each day passes! I can't wait to stay at the Wilderness Lodge!!! It was a hard sell for dbf to get him to upgrade to deluxe but I think its totally worth it! And all these pictures are so proving me right!!

Great advice DrmWvr1299-- I am such a fanatic organizer, I truly have to make myself slow down & just relax & take it all in, & this year I am going to do just that! How can you not at this beautiful hotel???

Smile4Me-- You are very welcome! There are GREAT threads out there with facts about Wilderness Lodge & I have studied & made great notes with all the great information shared by our fellow Dis'ers. I thought it would be great to just have tons of PHOTOS-- of everything--- inside, outside, beach, bathtub, bring it on!!!!!

Nothing gets you more excited about your next Disney Trip, than the photos of the Disney Resorts, especially this one just for Wilderness Lodge photos!

I have been to all the sites available & seen tons of photos of Wilderness Lodge, inside & out, but I still can't get enough.
I am obsessed!! My son (age 12) & I will be finally staying at our dream resort this year from 11-30 to 12-7-08. We have always stayed at Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, or the All Star Music/Movies Resort. I have always DREAMED of staying at the Wilderness Lodge & when my dad passed away a few years ago (only 56 years of age), I figured that life is way too short & I have decided to "splurge" this year & go for it. This is not easy for a single mom on a budget, but I know this is probably the most beautiful resort during Christmas time, my favorite time of the year! I have looked at all the photos on the All Ears Net, the photos on the threads on the DIS boards, but I just can't get enough, so I thought I would start a thread for just Wilderness Lodge Photos- all of the resort. I want room photos, bathroom photos, refrigerator photos, shower photos, pool photos, Whispering Canyon photos, etc......
We don't have to discuss best room requests, check in, or anything like that, JUST BRING ON THE PHOTOS !!!!!! Thank you to anyone that posts photos to feed my obsession.

You're gonna love it. Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort. This thread is kind of making me sad. We're doing a split stay between WL and AKL in July. Kind of wish we were staying at WL the whole time.
