Now, you sound like my sister. She called one of our former high school teachers just to chat. He was a fantastic person and a great friend of mine. He & I have stayed in touch over the years and I guess he sends a Christmas card to her every year too.

They got to talking about our trip this summer and she commented that I had a spreadsheet together. I guess he made some comment about me still being a planner. I didn't realize I was one in high school.

Today. I chopped 5 inches off my hair 2 weeks ago (it was all one length and below my shoulders). I'm still not used to it.

I really like it! The color is very nice on you too.

The last one I got was the one they hand addressed to me last spring, saying, "We have everything correctly added to the system so you are set to go!" Didn't even matter that Bob is also now an AP holder, apparently...

Of all they do well, I think the area Disney seriously falls short is the information tracking aspect!

And now it appers they've taken the Mickey Monitor link off the Passholder website. What's up with that?!

How was everyone's day?

Pretty good, though not as productive as I would have liked. I should have come home from lunch today and gone to the grocery store and started some cleaning...instead, I've been doing Disney stuff. Much more enjoyable, but I could stand to do the other things! Jonathan and I went out for a late dinner to a hamburger joint near our house - I am stuffed!

All I know is that it used to be called The Grovesnor, and it's one of the DTD hotels. Maybe our resident TA can provide some insight!

not really necessary... those names were WITH a few beers! We might be looking at Vladimir and Wilhelmina in another 30 minutes or so...

Although we had Chanon book ME for our trip in September, I was looking at car rentals. We are talking about $170 for a compact car for 9/27-10/1 WITH discounts like a free weekend day!

I bet they'll go down, Elin. I got a 3-day rental last Sept. for less than $40 - and it was significantly more when I initially booked it. I just check in now and again, and play with codes, and see if prices come down.

Well, I wasn't interested in anything on TV so I put in The Tigger Movie. I bought it several months ago and haven't watched it yet.

I guess my sister didn't like my cold voice. She can't really call me old as she's 7 1/2 years older than me. My kids don't like my voice either. It sounds like I'm mad at them no matter what I say.

Oh, I know that voice all to well. I hope that you and Joe are both feeling better soon! More that it avoids the others!

Disney's website and anything that requires a computer even remotely in my opinion is lousy.

They probably knew I was looking for a link to the MM on the AP site so they did it to thwart me!

Bob had very little to do with naming our DDs. They would have both been named Sharon...

I usually can book this far out with better prices than those, though, Lindsay. I was shocked. I don't think I have ever had to pay anything over $100 for a 4 day rental!

hi had to go change the sheets. Olivia spilt her cereal on the bed.

My mom has the flu so I worked till3 and Jeff went in almost 2hrs later then his scheduled shift. I am hoping we don't get it.

Okay need to vent.
My DB and his Ex-GF have a son. the Ex also has another son from a previous relationship. On Tues. morning as my DB was getting ready to take his son to daycare so the ex could get him she calls and says the older child had a fever on Fri when she picked him up from school. So she is taking him on tues at 1:30pm for a Drs appt. she thinks he has the flu. Why wait 4 days the pedi she uses has an after hrs clinic and is open on sat and sun. Well older child has flu. She says she thinks Nephew gave it to him. As he was sick a couple of weekend before. DB gets nephew 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends and every Mon. night. Well she did not tell DB when nephew was sick nor did she take him to the Dr. but she said he was real sick. If Nephew has a cold she does not give him meds unless we buy them and send them to her and get on her about it. but for elder son she takes him to the Dr and gives him meds.

I had an interesting conversation with one of my "dads" today following his daughters' recital. He came up and asked me if he could ask me a Disney question. I figured they were planning a Disney vacation. Nope! He wanted to know if I knew who Deb Wills was. When I said, yes, that I knew who she was and had met her a few time, he said he figured that was the case. He just wanted to let me know that he hosts her website!

How did I not know this before now?!?

I saw that earlier today, too! Seems like everyone is worried about Elizabeth's packing strategies!

We are in the midst of another snow storm. We could have a foot on the ground before all is said and done. Work was suprisingly busy for about 2 hours, dead at opening and again at 8:20. I was hostess tonight so I didn't care if we were busy or not as I was getting paid hourly

We had absolutely perfect weather today - brilliant blue skies, pretty much zero humidity, and a high around 70 degrees. If only every day could be like that! Of course, it's cooled off quite a bit out there now.

Thankfully, the doctor called it in with time to spare so we are good. Plus, we have a grocery pharmacy that does free prescriptions on 6 top antibiotics, so it was free. The kicker to it all...the pharmacist hands it to me saying that there are several flavors. It is pink so I assume bubble gum (the offending flavor), nope she says....strawberry banana! WHAT?!?! That is what we were trying to avoid in the first place. Argh! At least we are set now. Terra's still now a fan, but she says that it is better than the bubble gum. So, we have a chart set up and $10 in disney dollars awaiting her upon completion of the medicine.

that Terra will learn to tolerate the stawberry banana flavor. I think I'd rather have bubblegum!

It's 10 days. Times out to be done just in time for her birthday. At least this time she'll be healthy in time for her birthday, not spiking fevers during it.

That exactly the plan! It goes in our trip stash. The Disney Dollars are mostly her spending money.

Maybe the rental car companies haven't gotten the memo that the economy is slowing, and they might need to be enticing people to rent a car!
