Are there new princess dresses this year? When we were there last year DD got a Cinderella, which is her fav. I am wondering if I should bring it or get her a new one when we are there? I normally get her new outfits in DL.. We are supprising her with the trip for her 5th bday.. so I must pack in secret!! Any one have recent pics of the princess fantasy fair? Thank u

I do not know if they carry them in the parks, but I have seen "Spring" dresses for all of the princesses at our local Disney Store. I was at the DTD Disney Store on Thursday and I did not see them there, though.

I bought my daughter who is also turning 5 a new dress from Disney.com. But you can buy in the park as well, just will be more costly. She told me yesterday she wants a different dress for each day. I will think about that one. She loved wearing it last year.princess:

Not sure if the sale is still going on, but on Disneyshopping.com they are offerring $5 shipping if you spend over $50. Also, 30% if you spend $75 or 20% off if you spend $50. :goodvibes The new spring princess dresses on there are really pretty!!!!!

I've been debating whether to bring my dd4 dress. I've already bought many many more new tops than she could possible wear on our trip bc I wanted to make sure she is all disney-themed! but I know she would love to wear her dress, which would have to be over her clothes depending on the weather. I am also concerned about her "ruining" the dress with stains and tears from all-day wear at the park. Any advice?

Thanks for letting me jump in!

I am debating on buying her new dresses on-line or getting them there.. I know she would love to get a new one in DL as well as were the Cinderella she has.. OOO choices..choices.. This not telling her is soooo HARD!!! I would love to ask her..maybe I will as a hypothetical..but then again I want her to have no clue that we are going...

I found a Snow White Deluxe costume for my daughter on Craigslist for $20 - it looks like it came right of the rack at the Disney Store.

My girls wear a different dress every day. I bought them on sale one year and they lasted two years.
I also buy things after halloween (girl pirate dresses) and they are great savings. You can try the trade with us section on the budget board. They trade things all the time.
Try the costume online shops.

Anyway, my girls love being in dresses everyday. I don't bring but 1-2 pairs of pants and other shirts, I just bring the costumes.

My DD will still be age 2 when we go, and she's really tiny for her age. Do they make Disney dresses that small? And what shoes do they wear to the parks with the dresses? Tennis shoes/crocs may look stupid with it, but I want her comfy, esp. her feet?

What about fancy-looking sneakers or flipflops? Even better, you could buy a plain pair of canvas sneakers and let her decorate them with glitter glue and other thing and then change out the laces for ribbon.
