Oh man, Im kind of worried! I recently bought my Disneyland tickets from Getawaytoday.com, I think on the 25th of Jan. Just yesterday I got a little envelope from getawaytoday in the mail, and opened it up, but all it was was one little piece of paper saying it was my reciept. I called getawaytoday and they said they do NOT send out the actual tickets OR voutchers. They said all I have to do is show my I.D. at the ticket booth at DL and I'll get the tickets then. IS THIS CORRECT!? I kept reading on here how everyone talks of getting vouchers in the mail, but I never got one. Just a reciept. So is that woman from getawaytoday correct? All I need is my I.D. and nothing else (She said DL would have my stuff on file) or should I call back and talk to a Supervisor? :headache:

When I booked a trip through them I got a voucher (at least I think I got a voucher). I brought that with my ID to the ticket booth and picked up our tickets... I would probably call Disneyland and ask them if you need more than a receipt and your ID. Maybe they changed it since I went, I'm not really sure. But, they'll know way better what they accept than getawaytoday will

I do believe that is correct. (editing to mention that I was replying before I saw the post above me, so I was saying that I believe getawaytoday's words to you were correct)

getawaytoday is a reputable business that tons of people have used.

though I do wonder if it's the ticket booths, or a guest services booth. someone else will probably jump in with that extra info, but I wanted to tell you I've definitely heard of this with getawaytoday before.

It's possible the vouchers you've read about are either when you buy a package, or when ordering through disneyland.com (you still aren't mailed anything from disneyland.com, but you print the vouchers at home).

Getawaytoday changed to e-ticketing recently and no longer uses vouchers. It is completely 100% true that you will be able to just show your id at the ticket booth and they will give you your hoppers. NO WORRIES! :goodvibes

I just called Disney and the lady said I'd have to go over to the Guest Service booth (NOT the ticket booth) and they would be able to help me. She didnt sound 100% concrete though.:scared1:

I just dont want to show up at DL after spending all that money on those tickets and trip and have them tell me 'You need a voucher' or something like that.

Thank you. You've all made me feel better. I just hope all goes well with these tickets or else... :scared1:  :scared1:  :scared1:

But... weeew. At least I feel a little better now.:flower3:

Well, normally, I have found the guest service line shorter than the ticket booth lines, so I'm sure that would be a fine option as well! Both places should have you in the "system".

The first time I use GAT I totally panicked! :scared1: I didn't have a voucher for Disneyland tickets, just a voucher for the HOTEL. I just went to a ticket booth and showed them my driver's license and waited for tickets. NOOOO Tickets. I forgot I put the tickets in my husband's name, since I don't usually carry my Driver's license when I am with him. Make sure that you take the correct license. i.e. if you put the tickets in your name with GAT make sure you show your license. It was really easy and quick. NO need to panic. But I totally panicked when I first used them, so I understand. I really like GAT and have used them more than once. And would use them again. Have a good trip.

Just make sure you bring your reciept with confirmation number. We had to pick up character dining vouchers at the ticket booth after purchasing from Get away today and they had no record of the vouchers. Luckily it was early in the day I was able to call Get Away and have them fax the order confirmation to Guest Services.

One thing I forgot to mention is that GAT has a guarantee. Bring their 800 number with you and if you run into any snags they will make it right. Did you receive a receipt or some kind of confirmation in an email? It might be worth it to print it out and bring it with you.

Is this new? When we traveled in November, we were sent our actual hopper tickets in our travel documents envelope.

I hunted ALL over for Guest Services. It isn't where it was before years ago when I went.

But This where it is NOW head toward Disney California toward the C, from there you will see the Lost and Found Office, head toward that, once you are close to lost and found you will see a curved wall coming out of the DCA facade and behind that next to lost and found you will find the very Hidden Guest Services Office. It is the only one for both parks.

They are very kind there and very knowledgeable. MY Dd and I, some how messed up our hopper tickets and on the last day of our trip they said we had used up our tickets. Well Guest Services was able to up grade our hoppers for just $20. more so we could finish our trip on a high note! And they delt with a very upset women [me] to get it done, too. I really owe them!

I don't want to be a thread hijacker, but this post raises another question. What about the tickets for Magical Morning/Early Entry? Do you receive these when you pick-up the vouchers? Is GAT still offering 2 of these with the purchase of 3+day parkhoppers?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Gianna

Did you have a package deal, or did you just buy the tickets online? Package deal through WDTC (or the TAs who use WDTC like Costco and AAA) you get a packet with tickets, but you can buy just the tickets in an e-ticket form now.

lawyergirl22, the MM is "on" the tickets, as far as I know. Just like the normal one MM day is noted on the ticket/embedded in the info about the ticket, I do believe GAT's 2 days are the same.

The MM will be encoded onto the back of your parkhopper. It is in the barcode, so it shows up on the screen when the ticket taker scans it. For the GAT hoppers, there will be 2 MM's encoded.

As far as I know, there is also a Guest Services window to the left of the turnstiles at the DL entrance as well.

Well the funny thing is, the thing they sent me in the mail (the reciept) was the EXACT same thing I got in my conformation email. I might as well have just printed up the email and it would be the EXACT same thing as what they sent me. Basically the reciept. So I think I will be taking it with me to show them just in case. And I am 99% of the time a SUPER mellow guy when it comes to dealing with people. But if anything gets messed up, I will have to cross my thresh hold from 'super mellow guy' to 'Very nice Angry guy'.

Nope it was gone. Perhaps closed for winter. But the DCA one was it.

Sounds like you don't need any more help but I thought I'd let you know that I had do this once when I went through a travellling agency. We got in the ticket booth line like our agent said but once we got there we were told to go to guest services and yep they had our tickets no problem. We also picked up our little ticket thingies for the fantasmic priority seating at the same time. So don't worry, it's normal. Have a fun trip!
