O.K. you heard it hear. Karen wants us to show our Planky before we get on the boat.

Does the Borat swimsuit reveal enough or do us guys need to do the "full Monty"?

I got corrected by a DCL CM once on the phone for calling it a "boat".

DS always calls it the Mickey Boat, so that is why I refer to it as a "boat".

we have never stayed in disney resorts, we hired a condo 2 years ago and last october we stayed at my friends villa, it was awesome having your own pool!!

Thats my concern - if we rent a villa we'll never want to go back to a hotel room again!

Good morning Karen!

We actually have a pretty busy weekend coming up. Later this morning we take Thomas to swim class, then in the afternoon over to our friends' house for the day. We have a great group of friends, some with kids, some without, we all get together Saturday afternoons and chat, play cards or board games, order in dinner, and just hang out. It's great because the kids all play together, and the adults (especially the moms) get to have some adult conversation.

Then tomorrow is Thomas's 5th b-day, so we're going out for lunch with his grandparents. He chose the restaurant - it's a steak place with a country/western theme. Then, tomorrow is also the Super Bowl - it's the championship game for American football - so we'll be going over to our same friends for a party and to watch the game. I will bring Thomas's birthday cake over there to eat.

Somewhere in there I also have to get Thomas's presents wrapped and the cake made (I'm going to try to make a pirate ship - I'll post pics if it turns out)!

When I send DCL postcards out to the little tykes, I use the word "boat" as well. I don't want the little ones saying they are going on the Mickey Shi_ by mistake..........

It was funny, before our May 2006 cruise. My niece's husband always said "boat" and everytime I heard him say it, I would say "ship." One time I slipped around him and said "boat" did he ever tease me about that slip up..........

I also remember a thread here on the DIS about calling the Wonder and the Magic a ship or a boat. Some people got hot under the collar on that thread.

I get all fussy when people call WDW -Disneyland - drives me crazy... I HAVE to correct them..."world..its DisneyWORLD you're going to...WORLD".

So far we've done lots of 20/10. We've made a cheesecake and played lots of games. Its aerobics next....just trying to work up some energy before I begin.

I just got home from the bank and the post office (I had to "boat" a box to Florida, ) not too bad here, it's 44*F at the moment.
