Character sightings, Goofy Kitchen dinner review

We have seen 30 characters in the three days we have been here, including 8 this evening at Goofy's for dinner. Some of the new ones for us are: Gideon (cat from Pinnochio), Suzie (mouse from Cinderella), Pocahontas, Dopey, Brer Bear and Captain Hook (not at a character breakfast).

Food was good at Goofy's. We enjoyed the dinner and had a seating at 5:30 and it was fairly empty in regard to people.

wow... I am jealous! We missed it in Nov because our dd was having some meltdowns and it was just sensroy overload. I was very sad....

NEXT time. it will be our first nights dinner.

Today we saw Pinnochio, Cruella and Woody. Overall we have seen 34 characters since we have been here! Boy the autograph book is filling up..........

What types of food did they have? I've heard bad things about the pizza and some of the other foods, so I was a bit worried about doing the dinner we had planned for our trip, but to hear a good review eases my mind a little bit.

We had prime rib, Jamaican pork, spanish rice, fresh chow mein that was cooked in front of you, two different kinds of potatoes, lots of salad choices anywhere from potato to build your own pasta salad. DH is picky and there was plenty. There were also three different kinds of pizza and I noticed the chef made a special pizza for that table next to us due to a dietary issue. So they are very accommodating.

You will not be dissappointed with the selection. Granted, the pizza was not the best (nothing compares to Chicago-style pizza, from Chicago), but there is something for everyone's tastes.

If you do have any special dietary needs, make sure to contact the restaurant before arriving, like a few days at least, so they can make preparations.

I believe that we are going to Goofy's Kitchen on either Feb. 14th or Feb. 15th for a special dinner. I heard a lot of bad and a lot of good from that place. Let's just hope that we all have a great visit!

I forgot about the popcorn shrimp, Goofy shaped mac and cheese, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pb&j pizza!! Oh and the desserts.........lots of fun stuff there too.

Never had a bad meal here, even DH likes it and he makes sure I always include it in our plans. You can have a cocktail and great prime rib so he's happy. I thin the variety here is always good at dinner which is the only time we've been. Glad you liked it and keep enjoying your trip!
