In follow up to the dicussion on the email show today - last month I did the Animation Academy at MGM three times and loved it. It is now one of my favorite things to do.

Here are my attempts at Disney animation.

My Pooh needs to go on a diet but I still love him.

I'm not a Stich fan but he turned out pretty good, I think.

My Mickey didn't turn out all that good so I won't share it with you. :rotfl2: I wonder if they have new paper since they changed the name of MGM???

Show me yours!!!!

Wow those are really good! I don't have any pictures to add since we have never attended the show.

Your drawings look great! Looks like I was there 10 days after you...we drew Pooh too! But my Pooh looks like poo. Oh well.

I have one of Goofy that we did last March. Once I get a picture of it I'll post it.

The Animation Academy at MGM (or DHS, whatever you want to call it) is one of the things we hit every trip. After the first time of going through the whole tour with Mushie...uh, I mean Mushu...we just now walk through the gift shop into the building and go straight to the Academy!

Wow, those are great! I couldn't draw anything that good even w/ tracing paper:rotfl:

Thanks!! I was surprised they turned out looking anything like the originals. I am crafty but certainly not an artist. The animators make it pretty easy to follow along, although about 5 more minutes of drawing time would make it a little less rushed. (That's why Pooh has an overly pooh-sized jaw line. )

I did the gift shop short cut also - the Mushu show is cute but only once a trip.

I can't wait to see Goofy and everybody elses* animation.

*is that a word? :confused3

Okay, here's my Goofy!

The top one was the animator's, and the bottom is mine. After the class, we went up to get a picture with her, and she gave us her drawing! Not a 15-day world trip of every Disney park (come on, Ellen! We have the same birthday!!!), but it was a nice Magical Moment.

Love the Goofy!!! And both of them framed together is great.

Hi Tonya2426
It was my question that was read out on the podcast. Thank you very much for sharing your pictures - they are great!!
We must have missed this in our previous trips so we are very much looking forward to doing this when we visit in July.
Thanks again

Ann B
