Yesterday, I visited the Disney store near us. Honestly, this was the first time in a while since I order online a lot. Turns out they are offering 50% off the sale price of items left over from the semi-annual sale!!!

I bought & paid the following for special surprises for my nephews & family for our Sept. cruise:
1) Disney "Studio Collection" adult T's: reg. Price ($16.50), marked down to $5.00 w/50% off = $2.50
2) Pirates (at worlds end) wrist walkie-talkies reg. price ($29.50) marked down to $2.99 w/50% off = $1.49!!!!
3) Disney "Studio Collection" Tickerbell/ Capt. Hook Tea Towels: Reg. price ($12.50) marked down to $10.00 w/50% off = $5.00
4) Disney Design Art Set: Reg. ($40.00) marked down to $26.00 w/50% off = $12.00
5) Large Pinocchio Canvas Wall Hang: reg. price ($30) marked down to $20 w/50% off =$10!

I knew I bought more then that but can't remember... saved $100's!

Best of Luck!

No kidding!!! I'll be running there tomorrow at lunch!

Congrats to you and thank you!!!

Where are you located at? Which store was it?

I was there today (in NJ) and got GREAT bargains. The deluxe Jack Skellington halloween costume for $4.99! And POTC tshirts that were $2.49! Not to mention that it is a new store - both Disney stores near us have recently moved their locations in their respective malls - this new store was terrific - maybe tomorrow I'll visit the other one!

Since this is not cruise specific, I will move it over to the budget board.

2) Pirates (at worlds end) wrist walkie-talkies reg. price ($29.50) marked down to $2.99 w/50% off = $1.49!!!!

Word of warning on the walkie talkies... my wife picked them up for our son. Besides the fact that they barely worked.... the batteries cost her $20

I would skip that bargain if I were you. The rest of your deals look great! :thumbsup2

Wow...add my 15% OFF coupon they gave me last time I shopped there and I could do some real damage tomorrow! I should probably stay away though as it is not in my budget this month!

I got some fabulous buys on Sunday at my Manchester Disney Store. A few of the items include a pair of "Ugg" style suede boots for DD ($15), denim tinkerbell purse (one each for DD and myself, $7.49 each), denim tinkerbell wallet to match purse (just for DD, $5). I got lots more great stuff also. Sadly,my 15% off coupon was left home (I didn't plan on going to the mall... it just sort of ended up that way!)

They had lots of men's small shirts and shorts, if you have a teen/tween boy. I bought DS (almost 10) a men's small shirt, but it will take him a year or so to grow into.... but for about $3 (for a collared polo style), I couldn't resist.

LOTS of POTC stuff, especially for women/girls. Shirts, tanks, pocketbooks, wallets.

Now go shop!...............................P

I was there on Monday and picked up a few things. I don't have kids, though, and they really didn't have much left that was adult-friendly.

I got some adult Mickey Mouse slippers for $5 each (got several-- one for myself and some for gifts). I also bought a nice travel coffee mug with Mickey on it for $4 (I don't know why-- I already have a ton of resort refillable mugs  ), and some satin ribbon with Mickey sillhouettes on it for $1.

They did have a ton of kids stuff on clearance, though. Too bad I don't have anyone to buy it for!

I went last night and ours really had nothing good and the sale prices weren't that good even with the extra 50% off.

I had the same problem. I don't have a local Disney store anymore, so when I heard about the sale, I hopped in my car and drove 2 hours to Atlanta, and I didn't buy anything!

Oh well, I can call it an adventure. :rotfl2:

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! I was there yesterday (snuck in on my lunch break!!) and got tons of good steals. I got a POTC Halloween costume for my son for next Halloween for like $12!! Got some other great steals as well. I could have spent a lot more money, but I'm trying to be good!!

:rotfl: can you call it dinner out & just a stop to the Disney Store maybe? Anything to make the drive seem worth it.

I was at the mall on Sunday for dd's libby lu birthday party and ran into disney store. It was mobbed, and I had to get over to Libby Lu, so I didn't have time to go through the clothing racks, but I did pick up backpacks for my ds2 (for when we go to universal, so he can pack his toys and books for the car ride in this Feb break) and one for my dd for when she starts pre-k in the fall. They were.........$2.99 each!!! DS is mickey mouse and dd is sleeping beauty, but they did have pirates and cars and tinkerbell patterns. I am heading back there on Friday to do a little more shopping. I was thinking of buying a bunch of boys backpacks to use for favors for ds's 3rd birthday in August. At $3 a pop, that is the cheapest favor I have ever done!

For those who didn't find too many great deals at the Disney Store:

There's a good chance at the merchandise was sold out before the current promotion went into effect. It happens very often at the store where I work. Even if we are out of a piece of merchandise, the price will continue to drop if other stores still have it in stock.

I work tonight so I'll see what's left at my store.

I got everything my store had that I really wanted from the Disney Shopping clearance online for WAY cheaper than the store had (at least another 50% off). So this sale probably brings the peices in line with that. I'm sure everything in my size is gone by now.
