Welcome to the “You Know You’ve Taken Too Many Pictures When the Photopass People Recognize You” Trip Report!!!
This report was formerly known as the “Two DL CM visit the World” but I decided to change the name.

So as the new title explains we took a lot of pictures! That’s actually quite an understatement. We took over 200 photopass pictures and my DF took over 1200 pictures on his camera, our two friends took about 100 each and I took 7. So this report will be full of pictures!!!
I haven’t received all of the pictures from our friends and our photopass cd may take some time to get here, but we have plenty until then.

I had a pre-trip report but I recommend not looking at it as it doesn’t have a lot of information in it. (I was kind of lazy with that one.):confused3

Now, I’ll re-introduce the cast

Me-Jessica-TnkrBoo-princess: I was the planner and ADR maker of this trip. I was super excited about spending time with friends I very rarely see. I love Disney and WDW, however my favorite is DL. I was super excited to meet Figment on this trip!

Ryan-Indy1- :drinking1 My fiancé and theme park enthusiast. Makes fun of me because the first site I checked when I got back was the Dis, however he checked miceage. We met while working at DL as well. Ryan and I both live in Southern Cali.

Julie-princess: My best friend who I met while working at Disneyland. She now lives in Colorado. Decided to join our trip for one last hurrah before she gets married in October. We went to WDW together in 2004.

Matt- :drinking1 Ryan’s best friend and mutual friends of Julie and I. We met Matt while he was working at DL too. He now lives in Washington. Hasn’t been to WDW since before AK.

We were all there for different amounts of time, Ryan and I spent almost two weeks, Matt was only there 5 days and Julie was there about 9. We all arrived on the 2nd of January.

This was like a family reunion for us. :grouphug: We’re all such great friends and it was great to get to spend time with them. We’re a very fun-loving, laid back group.

A quick picture…this was our first lunch at Coral Reef. That’s Matt and Julie on the left and Ryan and I on the right.

I’m still in the process of uploading the pictures into photobucket but I should have my first day up soon.

Hopping on board for the ride! Can't wait to see your photopass pics!!!

*Okay, I just read through your pre-trippie so I would not feel so out of the loop. I wish I would have known about Disney when I was younger, I think I would have moved to Florida to become a CM. I guess at my age I will have to think about something like that for retirement now:rolleyes1 .

Looking forward to hearing about your trip!

lunch was really nice! i loved the colors of the restaurant, they were very soothing.

Yay for the actual start of the trip report!

I had to work the entire day before we left for Florida.:headache: It was the longest day of my life. I was off and home around 6PM. Our flight left the next day from San Diego at 11AM. I still had some last minute packing to do so while I was working on that I sent Ryan to the store to get some large ziploc bags to store my shampoo/conditioner/etc. for the long plane ride. I think we finally started our mini-road trip at about 8. It was an uneventful drive down to San Diego, I think I slept most of the way.
Side note: Ryan and I both live up by DL but we got a cheaper airfare if we left out of San Diego. Ryan's parents live in San Diego and they offered to let us stay at their house for the night and drive us to the airport. Which is why we had to take our mini road-trip.

That night I was so exhausted I had no problem sleeping. Usually I have the night before Disney jitters and can't sleep however due to the partying on New Year's and the long day at work I was sleepy. I did wake up a few times during the night and thought I had over slept and double checked the time and my alarm. It would have been awful to miss our flight! :scared1:

We woke up on time and made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
Check-in and security went very smoothly. The problem was there was no McDonald's in the airport!!!! It's always been somewhat of a tradition in our family to eat McDonald in the airport before our early morning flights. I was outraged and went to Starbucks and got hot chocolate and a muffin instead and waited for our plane.

Finally we started boarding. We were flying southwest so we didn't have assigned seat numbers but we were boarding group A like 22 and 23. So we pretty much got on the plane first. As we were boarding the plane I got a phone call from Julie. At first I thought something was wrong because she should have been on a plane. Then she told me that she had already landed in Orlando. She had six hours to wait until we got there. She told us to look for her in the Fox Sports Bar when we got there.

I'm going to speed this up now....
We landed. Met Matt and Julie, my sister and her two friends. We waited for our luggage. Loaded up into our Tiffany Town Car when to the grocery store and then to All Star Sports. Check in was a breeze and we were off to our rooms. We actually got a really good spot! We were in the football building with one of the rooms on the backside. We were really close to the food court and buses, but since our room was facing to the back of the resort we didn't have a lot of noise or foot traffic throughout the night. We ate some chicken strips from the food court, watched Golden Girls, the boys went for a swim and then we went to bed. We had a long day at Epcot planned tomorrow.

The weather when we landed was about 30 degrees, around 20 w/ the wind chill. It was freezing!!!!

Amazingly not a lot of pictures from the travel day so i'll put up some from our 1st Epcot day to make it a little more interesting...
