The "World" May Never Be The Same! *We're back!* *new 8/24*

A little Disney creativity.....

So here are some photos of some of the scrapbooking pages I have done of our trip. I don't know how to use the scanner so they are just photos of them and I see they are out of focus too. Sorry about that!

Nice album. I love scrap booking but never seem to find the time. Hoping to have a Disney one completed before next trip. We'll see. Again, your girls are precious. I know you are proud.

Sarah,

I have been loving your TR for some time now!
Just wanted to say that your album pages are great! Don't forget to include copies of your TR entries into your album. You will love looking back on the stories as well as the photos. I am starting my album from our trip in September...lots of fun!
Thanks for such great reading and fond remembrances through your photos!

Nice pages!

You dress your children in WHITE for trips to WDW??? :scared1:

I don't even dress my children in white around home.
Dirt just jumps out and attacks them.

You must have the cleanest, neatest little girls ever!
:goodvibes

Thanks Shmu. I never have time to do it either. Truth is I did these pages at a crop back in October! Just never got around to posting them! :lmao:

Thanks Amy! I was thinking about printing out a copy of my trippie and sticking it in the album somewhere if I ever get the album or this trippie done! May take years at this rate! :rotfl:

There was a thought behind the white dresses Sarah! You'll have to keep reading to find out what it was though! Hahhahah! :yay:

those pages are really nice. I would love to scrapbook but I would not know where to begin.

You should give it a try Scott. There are a couple of men that I know that scrapbook and their stuff is amazing. They just have a different way of looking at things. My vote is grab some photos and go for it! Make the leap! :thumbsup2

Those pages are great Sarah. You're so creative. :artist:

Thanks Angela!

Great Scrapbooks....love the pics of the girls of course!!!!

Cna't wait for more!!!!

:cool1:

Beautiful scrapbooks, Sarah! We have been collecting all the material to start ones for our kids, so when they leave the nest, they can at least take some of the photo memories with. :thumbsup2

Chapter 16 - Lunch with Pooh

After a seemingly very long wait in the heat our name was called! I was worried we were going to be missed because we didn't have one of those pager thingys and wasn't sure about their "it will be fine" line they gave us but sure enough - they didn't forget about us! I should know better then to doubt Disney!

Opened the big glass doors and a big blast of cool air blew in our faces and it felt wonderful! Got to our table and had our drink order taken. They also told us about the path the characters take around the restuarant and that they would be starting with us in about 3 mins!

Great!

Sure enough - right on cue out came Piglet!

Smile girls!

Next was Tigger

Then came the main bear himself!

Last but not least was gloomy Eeyore

The characters here were great! They took their time at each table and played with the kids.

Now it was time to eat!

Hit the line up at the buffet and loaded up....

Food here was good. Nothing especially fancy but what do you expect from a buffet in the middle of Magic Kingdom! It was fresh and plentiful.

Part way through the meal it was time for a parade around the restaurant. They came around and handed out flags to the kids.

And soon the music started!

Eeyore was the leader today!

IMG_7631.jpg

And the kids all followed!

It was fun to watch all the kids parade around with the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood but I will warn anyone who is heading there with small children that when the parade is over - the kids are left to find their own way back to their table and there seemed to be some little ones looking a little lost!

After we had stuffed ourselves to the point of nearly exploding it was time to head back out into the park!

But - potty break first! Yes, mean mommy doesn't want to stop in 10 mins so you have to go now!

Here is the thing about the bathrooms at Crystal Palace.....they are the smallest ones I have seen in any restaurant anywhere! Okay, so I am only speaking about the ladies because quite frankly, I didn't visit the mens although I was tempted when I saw the huge line up at the ladies! :rolleyes1

But seriously - 2 stalls plus the wheelchair one. That's it. And no room to line up either so you kind of line up out into the centre of the restuarant. And only 1 sink too! They really need to do something about that.

Anyways....there is my gripe for the day!

Before we left I had to take pics of the flowery gang in the middle!

Lunch was over and time to head back out into the World...

As an ex DL restaurant manager, I can speak from experience. The older restaurants clearly have outdated restrooms. However, they can't be enlarged w/o tremendous change to the structure of the restaurant...

Your girls are obviously very, very happy to see the characters...:thumbsup2

What ADORABLE pictures with the characters. Your little angels look like they are on :cloud9: !

How scary about the ending of the parade..:scared: I guess if you have a little one, you'd have to march along!

We've never dined at Crystal Palace.. might need to check that one out in the future!

Thanks!

love the update...we never have done anything but breakfast there....its good....& I agree on the bathrooms to small...but the Parade was fun!!!

Great Pics of the girls!!!

see ya....

I know its an old building and they can't do much about the bathrooms but it still bugged me! And I just checked with HG and thinks there were at least 4 stalls in the mens. Maybe they need to do a switch-a-roo on them! I'm just saying....:rolleyes1

The girls were happy to be there with the Pooh gang! The parade was fun but yes, march along with the little ones! Or at least keep a very close eye on them and be ready to swoop in and grab them as the music ends! :thumbsup2

Thanks DDad! We thought about doing breakfast there to get into the park early but neither Tink or I can eat eggs so we gave it a miss this time.
