Who's going to MouseFest 2007?

From the sign-up threads, it seems like a lot of DISers will be at WDW during MouseFest. Many simply have trips that coincide with MF, but each year I see more and more LGMHs at the actual MouseFest events.

Who will I see this year?

[Note:] For those who don't know, MouseFest is an annual fan-based gathering of Disney lovers like us, held at WDW in early December.

MouseFest is half fan convention, half family reunion, with members of many online communities like the DIS gathering together for every type of meet you can imagine - attraction meets, parade and fireworks meets, meal meets, Dole Whip meets, trivia contests, scavenger hunts, karaoke, Segway tours... The list is endless. Most of the meets are free (except te cost of meals or park admission), although many require advance signup. Most meets are open to everyone, though some are restricted to members of a particular web community.

At one time I was planning to do the MouseFest cruise plus the WDW events afterwards - but that is no longer the case. Maybe I'll be there for MouseFest 2008!

No, I'm not doing the Capture the Magic meet, but I'll be at MouseFest 101 and the Dole Whip Meet on Thursday; the Everest meet, Star Tours, and Stop, Drop and Roll on Friday; Brunch at the Ball, the MegaMeet, and MoussseFest on Saturday.

I'm also going to a bunch of site specific meets for Tagrel.com and Passporter.

Boohoo. I'm going to miss the Merry Mixer this year for the first time. Try as I may, I could not convince my DW Sue to fly down on Thursday, so we'll miss the mixer, the MVMCP meet, and probably the Animal Kingdom meets on Friday. Oh well, at least I get to be there for part of the fun.

I am missing it this year, second year in a row. I have to get back on my 'normal' May and Dec schedule next year. Really going to miss being there for that, and all the Christmas 'stuff'.

Hi Dan....nope, DIS still isn't officially involved in MouseFest. But, there are a bunch of us that go and manage to have a terrific time, but you already know that!! Maybe, someday, the DIS will join as an official participant.
Sorry you won't be with us yet again...perhaps next year!!!
