Tink and Bell look adorable

I love your pumpkins....

Your pizza is so cool..

Yeah for an update tomorrow:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Sarah - I have been so busy that I was waaaay behind on your report. I've caught up now, so you can proceed. :lmao:

I got talked into a lot of rides this time, and got soaking wet on Splash.

You looked beautiful in your pink dress, but you couldn't have paid me to go on splash dressed so nicely. :sad2:

Lots of nice pics! Looking forward to the rest!

SARAH!! I have been away from the boards forever!!! I've got tons of reading to do but I just wanted to say HI! Once school started, I don't know where the time went. Then there's all the kids' activities we're constantly running to and from.....:scared:

We are getting closer to our trip and I need to get moving on that, too!

Thanks Sarah! Glad I wasn't the only soaked one coming off of Splash Mountain. But the real question is did you give the park a show like I did?!!! :lmao:

Laurie's back! Nice to see you my friend! I know how time gets away from you, there is a reason I am still on my first day of the parks and I've been home for a month!

Nope, thankfully I was wearing dark shorts and a dark shirt. People don't pay for the kind of show I would be bringing.

Have a great weekend!

The Trip Chapter 8 - We're Epcot Bound!

After bidding farewell to the Magic Kingdom we made our way through the exit turnstiles and headed for the monorail. Went for a quick spin to the Transportation Centre and then across the platform to transfer to the Epcot Monorail.

"Wait here" I told the family and went to talk to a CM.

"Any chance we could...."

"Of course. Wait right there"

"Thanks"

Then of course the nosey family had to pester me with questions. Just wait and see - Mommy has lots of things up my sleeves this trip. Just trust me!

Monorail Green pulled into the station and the doors opened up.

My nice CM came up to us but before he could let the kids in on the surprize another family tried to steal it from us.

"But we were here first" whined the other mother.

Too bad suckers - the driver's seat is ours baby!

Yep, we got to co-pilot Monorail Green!

Here are the girls and I up front!

IMG_7400.jpg

Made our way around the line and around Spaceship Earth and then Keith our pilot made an announcement that we had to stop for a safety check!

Woohoo! Extended up front time!

He explained what we were doing and how they monitor where each monorail is by the numbers on the concrete pillers holding us up! Some other stuff too but I was too busy enjoying the view up there!

Once we were on our way again it wasn't long until we pulled up into the station. Keith gave us all our co-pilots licences and was kind enough to pose for a pic with us!

Once more HG headed through the "bag" line and the kids and I breezed through the "no bags" line and we met up and this time we rocked the finger scan!

Stopped for a Photopass pic with Tink

Headed over and took a ride in a clam-mobile! Love this ride! Last time we were here it wasn't Nemo and when we got off Belle got her foot stuck under the car. Not sure how she did it but lights and sirens went off and CMs came running from all over. She was fine and quite liked the attention. Of course I had to give her a bad time about it this trip - its my job as her mother!

Next we went for a ride on Living With the Land. Love the pumpkins who were "earning their ears"!

IMG_7409.jpg

Grabbed some fast passes for Soaring. We've been on this ride many, many times in California and we know we love it but we weren't willing to wait 45 mins right now to see it.

Figment was next on our tour of the right side of Future World.

We totally fell in love with this one! Last time we were here there was no Figment in it and it sucked so I was expecting to not like it again but YEAH, it was great...

With F-I-G-M-E-N-T you can see things differently!

Tried to go get a pic with him but he wasn't up there. This becomes a common theme of the trip and a new game emerged called "where is Figment?"!

Next stop - Test Track!

Ya baby! Belle's favourite ride from the last trip and Tink was excited to try it.

The wait sign said 40 mins but we thought we'd brave it anyways. It was stinking hot out and we figured we'd at least be cool inside.

Tink's turn to get a timing pass!

IMG_7411.jpg

The line up was only about 25 mins so much better then we thought. I am sure Disney does that on purpose. You know - make you think you are going to be waiting longer then you are so instead of complaining that you had to wait 25 mins you think "wow, I only had to wait 25 mins instead of 40". Mind games I tell you!

Hopped into our test vehicle. Tink and I in the front and HG and Belle in the back. Tink and I had a very annoying kid sit next to us - he wouldn't shut up the whole ride! I am a talker and will spend great amounts of time talking to strangers or even a tree so I get the need to talk to people, I really do but this kid was bad. :rotfl2:

Here is our pic from that one!

image79.jpg

By this point HG was having some serious trouble with the heat so Ellen's Universe of Energy sounded like 45 mins of air conditioned heaven to him.

After our trip back in time and our escape from the dinosaurs and a quick education about fuel sources we were getting close to our ADR so started making our way to Norway. Don't you love having to pass Mexico on your way to Norway! I love Disney!

Went to check in but we were 10 mins early so they told us to go walk around so went to check out the gift shop!

Had to take a pic with the troll!

Then it was dinner time!

how fun!!!!! So what was your secret to getting to be the pilot on the monorail? how many can they have up there? Sounds like something our kids would LOVE.

I have always thought it would be a lot of fun to ride in the front of the monorail.

 I'm glad that family did not succeed in trying to steal your front car ride.

Thanks Sharky! You up for an update today?

Thanks!

I can't wait to take ds on Test Track. He was too short for all the good stuff last year...by like a hair

FIgment is great now.......

We got a pick with Figment...Have to see if I can dig it up

Darn....still on my cell phone, never uploaded to computer...oh well

I am so glad that Belle was okay. Did they make you sign some sort of waiver since she "hurt" on the ride, to save their hides?? Just curious

the girls look so cute in the viking hats:cutie:

You talk to tress.....Now, that is funny:lmao: :lmao:

Ok, I guess I will give an update about it on my report. Tell ya about my adventures with the hospital.

Sharky was giving us the cliff's notes version. :sad1:

WTG getting front row seats on the monorail! The Tink picture came out grea!

Thanks Leyla!

Hey Meri. You just have to ask a CM on the platform and if no one is up there then its yours! But....limit of 4 people so one of you would have to take the regular ride.
