It's scary and exciting all at the same time! Scary because now I've got to pay for this trip. Exciting because...well...DUH!

I also booked 9 nights at our timeshare on International drive, so we can spend the week before the cruise at the parks.

Now to figure car rental stuff - I don't think our timeshare offers rides to the parks - and figure time/distance from there to the port.

And now I gotta go find a ticker! :cool1:

The FAQ sticky is a great place to start reading, it has a wealth of information, and tips..

Don't hesitate on asking anything here, we are a friendly bunch of people who love to help.:goodvibes

You will have a wonderful time on the cruise. You will become addicted and the first thing you will want to do is check out a future cruise when you get home. :)

No. DCL does not send postcards. That was something that was started on these boards. If you'd like one go to the DIS DCL FAQ at the top of the main cruise page to find out how to get one.

Here's a tip for your scrapbook...make sure you send yourself a postcard from each of the ports, including Castaway Cay (and remember the post office on CC only takes cash, not KTTW cards). Not only do they make a great memento, it's so much fun to receive them in the weeks (sometimes months!) after you get back.

Actually, we just got a postcard from DCL in a packet of info they sent us including our confirmation information. It had Mickey and Minnie and the Magic on the front and a note from Mickey on the back saying that he can't wait to meet us onboard. So, even if they don't send them all the time, DCL certainly did send a postcard to us.
