The "Yeah, I'm famous, I'm on Youtube!" report-Opinions needed 2/22

I'm pre-packing, too. Only difference is our clothes are folded in piles on a table awaiting the final packing list check-off before going into our bags! :thumbsup2

And, I've got a 40 gallon tub filled with "stuff"... some to mail down ahead of us and some to pack in our bags.

Pre-packing is actually quite sensible... you can visualize what you've got, what you need, and what you can purge. Helps me a lot!

Congrats on paying off the trip; that's a good feeling! :goodvibes

Aww, you are MVMCPing on my birthday! That is a Crystal-approved way to celebrate!

I've been pre-packed for about a month now- and now that it's time to pack for real, I'm so glad that I am!

Just a month and a half left!!

Happy birthday early! Wow, you're already enroute to WDW.

So, while I was laid up with dueling infections earlier this week, I got to sort out some nitty gritty:
The cats have reservation at camp, AKA the vets.*
We decided we're taking a taxi to the airport-I'd proposed doing park, sleep and fly, but even though it's not *that* much more than park and go, we decided we'd prefer the control of either park&fly's shuttles or a taxi. We also think a taxi's be better should the weather be bad, which of course it's not allowed to be :).
*Way back during our first trip to WDW, my late cat Megan decided that she didn't want to go to the vet's-she'd rather stay at home and play. So she hid from us outside while we were packing up, and came home as soon as we got back. Fortunately, Oscar and Isabelle are indoor cats, BUT we're still a little superstitous. :cat:

Go Sox!

So I saw YoungestDB and DisneyMSF for the first time since they got back from their first trip home to AKV, which they loved. They did both the Wild by Design and World Showcase Segway Tours, and adored them. So therefore they were wondering if I would like a tour at WDW as an early birthday present. Does Mickey wear red pants? I wanted to go on the morning of the 11th, but that tour was full. So I'm going the morning of the 12th. :) :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Ergo, my updated schedule for those two days looks like this:
Tuesday December 11
Morning: open. Either go to DTD or MGM. Possibly just chill around POFQ.
Evening: MVMCP. Eat at Float Factory or CS at MK. Perhaps DIS meet up-it depends on how my mood is.

Wednesday December 12

Yuletide Fantasy Tour. :woohoo: :woohoo: :santa: :santa: Go back to POFQ. Take boat to DTD. Shop, browse, have dinner at PH. Go to PI.

That was very nice of your DB and DisneyMSF.....:thumbsup2 Without having to do the research, what is the Yuletide Fantasy Tour about?

To quote WDWinfo:
Yuletide Fantasy: Get a behind the scenes look at how holiday Magic is created at Disney World. You'll see how the Magic Kingdom is transformed into a scene from Currier & Ives, how Epcot captures the international flavor of the different cultures and their traditions, and how the Disney Resorts are transformed during this special time of year. You'll get an insiders look at the "tricks of the trade" and the enormity of this annual undertaking. At the conclusion of this walking tour, you'll receive a special holiday gift.

oh, Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!! :cool1:

I'm so glad you're doing that tour! I do so much want to do it myself, but the kids are still too young for it and we've never had an adults-only trip at that time of year. :santa:

Can't wait to hear all about it!! Take lots of pics, (if you can!)

Kathy

Thanks for doing the leg work for me.;)

I would love to see what they do. I know some facts, but don't want to spoil it for you.

I can in the public areas but not "backstage," per the CM on the phone. The warning even included cell phones-WDW legal team CM's are not slouches.

I'm just hoping the Food Network special is on again before I go. :)

Well, I'm kind of disappointed that SSE will be closed when I'm there-I was looking forward to seeing the updates. I did, however, have (yet another) WDW anxiety dream-I was arriving at the Magic Kingdom and realized I lacked a ticket, my MVMCP ticket, or my massive envelope of tip money. :lmao: :lmao:

Theere will be a larger update later this week (I'm finally putting stuff in my Passporter, although I'm still writing in pencil, as well as a more through to-do list.)

However, I feel the need to announce that As it is November, I am going to WDW....next month. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

US TOO!
I just popped over here to check out your PTR after you checked in on mine. It's the courteous thing to do:goodvibes .
I've enjoyed reading so far especially since we'll be there roughly the same time, at the same resort!
How cool is that!

Very cool.

Wow!!!! It'll be here before you know it..

If you do a TR, can you report on some of the better Veggie meals you have. I always like to try something besides the meat and potatoes diet....so any thumbs up meals you have and would like to share...that would be great.
