What date does the Tower of Terrer open??

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone can confirm the actual opening date of the Tower Of Terror??
Myself and my daughter are there from the 4th Feb for 4 nights and are hoping it will be open then.

Iread a rumour that it may be open for Christmas, but theres still a lot of construction going on round there at the moment...

I have read December 22 is the opening date for park guests with the soft opening planned to begin sometime around December 8th.

And the official opening (for the press etc) is in March 2008.

I find it strange that they are delaying the official opening for the press until March, when they will have already opened the ride to guests. Still I can't wait to go on it. Hopefully we will hear from the shareholders club soon about previewing the ride.

I''m sure I've read somewhere that the official opening is in January.

*The attraction is due to open in January 2008, with "soft opening" previews and tests running from late December 2007. An opening as early as October 2007 has been rumoured, however, in late 2006 it became clear an opening in early 2008 would be more attractive for the resort, to avoid the inauguration events clashing with the popular Halloween and Christmas seasons.

The attraction officially opens April 2008 at the Walt Disney Studios Park, but will be available to groups as part of a special preview beginning in January.

Its now Dec 22nd with Soft openings for AP holders late NOV. The reason the official opening for the press is being kept at April is simply to do with the weather and to extend birthday celebrations to the number 16.. Lets hope though they start mixing Early Entries into the studios once ToT opens to ease some congestion.

I've been told the date is 22nd December - there is a pin event scheduled for that date.

I'm going 27th Dec so expecting it to be super busy. At least it has fastpass!

It has been testing already so I do imagine so previews will begin late November.

Yes you should get to ride it - the date it is reportedly opening is Dec 22nd. This has yet to be confirmed officially but everything points to this. You'll be fine for end of Jan.
