Let me explain what i mean. My daughter who is 11yrs looks a lot older than she is (could pass for 15 easily) has anyone experienced any problems when buying tickets etc for BuffalloBills or at the Lucky Nugget saloon for an 11year old that looks a lot older? I will probably just have to carry her passport around but i don't want any aggro.

We never had a problem if they asked an age they always belived the age they were told without any question and my son was tall for his age.

My son who is now 13, is mature looking, taller than me and could easily pass for 16, but even on our last trip in March this year, he was given the child menu's in the restaurants, although he did in fact order from the adult one.
Like you I thought we would have problems last last year when he was 12 at BB's etc, but no queries whatsoever. :)

Thats good to hear it is very difficult when the children look a lot older, they questioned us at Alton Towers hotel earlier this year and i still think that they didn't believe me!:sad2:

The opposite happened to us, even when they were too old and we told their ages we were several times given them as child price.

My DD looks much older than she is. When we queued for the Halloween hair a couple of years' ago we were asked by a CM how old she was as it was up to 11's but he accepted our answer without asking for evidence. On the other hand there were older children in the queue who looked younger and no questions were asked. In restaurants we have often been given an adult menu but in some places DD prefers the kids menu and when we have asked for a kids menu there has never been any objection. So no problems as such.

Will you not have your passport with you anyway so you can prove it if necessary.

I will have the passports with me but i would rather not have to carry them around with me.

hehe I must have the only obsessive husband then - he wouldn't leave them in the hotel room so wore his winter coat the whole time in disney with them zipped into the inside pocket and we had gorgeous weather over the last few days (that'll teach me to have packed lots of long sleeved tops and jumpers and nothing summery!).
