The Circus

Me and my friend taylor were talking about this the other day and i wanted to know other people's opinion

i think that circus' are cruel and unusual i have been to one when i was 7 and was absolutely horrified, i coulnd't believe that people would make animal do such things.
this opinion was made stonger when i found out than one of the elephants at my local zoo (alice, yes i no all the names of the animals at my zoo DONT JUDGE ME lol) was rescued from the circus and they beat her so badly that she has permanent brain damage and now thinks that she needs to do certain things to get the attention of people

Any more animal rights dorks out there that agree with me????

And if you don't i am anxious to hear your opinions too

Thats so mean!! I recentally heard on the news that elephants got treated badly at the circus. They made the animals go for days without water! When i heard that i was mad. I would trample the owner of the circus., Then i would run back to the zoo or something.

i've been terrified since i was 2 another reason that i hate circus'

The only one I'd go to is Le Cirque du Soleil, which technically, is more acrobatics.

yeah i have no problem with Cirque du Soleil i actually think that is pretty cool

Im such an animal activist so i don't support the circus. Keeping animals in cages, only taking them out to work on there acts? That doesn't sound like a good time to me. If you ask me, i think they overwork them way too much. We went to one circus when i was about 5 and an elephant passed out due to dehydration. Believe it or not, elephants, and all other animals for that matter, have feelings and can hurt just like we do. I think most of the time people don't take that in to consideration and its a shame they don't.

Circuses are so sad . I've been to one once and was horrified!

They keep those poor animals locked up in CAGES. I wish all those animals could just be put in a good zoo habitat and not have to perform. Besides, it's the acrobats that make circuses cool anyway.

Animal circuses are cruel. If you think they are protecting those animals you are so so wrong. The animals are shackled and treated very badly. I went to one when I was 5 and will NEVER go again. Cirque du Soleil though is AWESOME.

i hate animal circuses.... cirque du soleil is where its at! i saw mystere at the treasure island in las vegas and it was absolutely mind blowing (theme park cirque du soleils are good too, but they are sooooooo bad compared to the broad-way style ones)

I've lived in Vegas my whole life and the only strip show I've seen is Blue Man Group
I want to see Cirque de Soleil so bad

Anyways, I hate circuses, clowns scare me. Plus, they smell -not the clowns-
