Stormy Disney pictures!

We only had two minor storms when we went (one as we were going back home, very sad :sad1: we left Disney property and suddenly it started to pour) and didn't really get any pictures.

I'd love to see some pictures of stormy weather at Disney, the more stormy the better! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Edit: Can a mod please move this to "Theme Parks Community"? :)

During our June trip it rained off and on (but hey it's Florida - right?) We did have one day where it stormed really bad! We happened to be at SSR at the time. This was taken just before a storm.

That's awesome! We never got to see such storms :guilty:

This was taken last November while on the monorail (shot through the window). There was a beautiful rainbow over the Polynesian that seemed to stretch to the Wedding Pavillion at the Grand Floridian.

We saw the neatest storm when we were at Epcot on 9/14. Illuminations was going on during the raging storm. They shot off a pair of perfectly symmetrical red fireworks which were promptly highlighted by a bolt of lightening right smack between the two. If I'd only had my camera ready for that shot...

Am I missing something or did our use of the popcorn icon change to noncontroversial topics? :lmao:

Not sure didnt know there were rules when it came to using the icons...I just put the icon because I was interested in seeing future stormy pictures as if i was watching a movie. so instead of putting subscribing i just put the popcorn icon.

No "rules", it's just most commonly used in heated (or soon to be heated) discussions...people post with the popcorn icon so they can sit back and watch the show. Sorry, I was just posting more in jest than anything...it was just amusing to see a post with just that icon in a situation it's not commonly used.

Sorry to go OT! :)

I use the popcorn icon the same way....like I am sitting back and enjoying the show.......which in this case is stormy pictures..........very interesting.

We were there in June 2002 when it rained most of the day on all but 6 of our 7 day visit. Lines were short and luckily we brought our own distinctive raincoats so we could find each other. Everywhere it was a sea of yellow Mickey raincoats!!!!!! The one downside was that my shoes were always wet!!
Keep the pics coming......I love them....
