We had never really given it more than a passing glance, but it gave us one of the best meals we ever had at WDW. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is attentive, pleasant, and professional. The food was absolutely wonderful from the appetizers to the desserts. Oh, the desserts! Goodness knows we'll likely never return because since the DDP is changing it won't be to our benefit any longer. Just am sooooo glad we stopped long enough in France to have this wonderful experience!

I will agree with you whole-heartedly. We ate here for the first time on our most recent trip (9/9-9/14) and it was a pleasure. My husband had the lamb shank dish and I had the duck breast. Both were awesome. We'll be going there again on our next trip.

This just shows how subjective dining reviews are. This is probably the only restaurant in Epcot that I don't like. It's all personal preference, not fact.

I've always enjoyed Chefs. I'm looking forward to our next meal there in December!

After our recent (August) trip I will now say it is my favorite and we have tried many.

So glad to hear it. We needed to add one more Epcot meal. Rose & Crown was our fist choice, so I asked for Chefs. Looking forward to it!

Glad to see your post after having seen some recent negatives. I walk by this place every year and am always so envious of the guests I see sitting at the tables here. Like you, we can't afford to go here without the DP, so next year may not be a choice for us. DH has also wanted to go here(I never knew it until this year) so I made an ADR for our Oct. trip. We aren't picky, and really have no complaints over any food at WDW(other than turkey legs and the breadsticks at Le Cellier). I think the menu looks great! Thanks for posting!:)

We have eaten there several times over the years and always enjoyed our meals. We will be eating there agin in December.

We were pretty disappointed by Chefs de France. They never told us what cheeses were on my cheese plate nor was there any type of bread product to eat with the cheese. There was plastic in my spinach and the scallops were gritty, it was like i had a mouth full of sand. We also walked around with upset stomachs for the rest of the night.

I agree...It is one of my MUST DO's on all future stays until it disappoints. I was so worried about this meal and almost canceled and I am REALLY glad I didn't.
YUMMMMMMMMM I am drooling thinking about it!

Chefs de France...if it's not in your plans, RECONSIDER!

1) We agree.
2) It is only one of five table service eateries at WDW that we patronize.

Chef's de France is delicious! We'll be there in December. Yum yum. The French Onion Soup...my mouth is watering just thinking about that...creme brulee....oh my. Yum, yum, yum!

we were there on 9/10 and it was one of the best meals ever!!

If you like Chefs then Bistro (upstairs from Chefs) will blow you away and rival V&As at the GF. We've eaten at Chefs once and now Bistro 2000 and 2005 and have a ressie this 2007 again at Bistro which is now our favorite WDW restaurant.

We are going in Nov. I am so lucky my sons like to experience new foods.

We loved Chefs de France when we were there in August. Our server (I couldn't even begin to pronounce her name) was spectacular. I swear, I couldn't leave her a big enough tip. She was like a mind reader. Maybe it was just what we chose, but I thought the food was fabulous.

Glad I picked Chefs de France when they had to cancel my Teppanyaki ressie for next month........really looking forward to it.

Yep, we liked it too in Jan 2007. But we always stick with their "French Menu" either the rotisserie chicken at dinner or the croque monsier at lunch. We love the french onion soup and the creme brulee the best.
