Help me choose - Chef Mickey's or 1900?

We have a short stay planned Jan 30-Feb 2 - we have DD6 and DD4 and the grandparents will be with us. We will have 2 days in the parks and have reservations for breakfast at Akershus on one of those days. The day we check-out, I was thinking of doing a character breakfast. I'm looking at Chef Mickey's (the girls love Minnie) or 1900 Park Fare. Recommendations?

I read one review of 1900 that said it was a tight space, hard to move around - and after seeing some pictures, I can see that may be the case. Can anyone give their opinion on that?

Another question - we have relatives from the Orlando area that might want to join us for breakfast. That's OK, right? They don't have to be staying at one of the resorts or anything to go to the character meal - as long as we have them counted in our reservation?

Chef Mickey's since your DD's love Minnie. As far as there not being enough room to move around at 1900... don't let that stop you if that is where you decide to dine. It's not as big as Chef's, but it's big enough for the characters to roam around. And no, your relatives don't have to be staying at a resort to dine at one of the restaurants.

We just did Chef Mickey's with a 5yo boy and he LOVED it.

I was already to say 1900 Park Fare, we loved that a few years back with a 5yo girl, but then I see you have a Princess meal at Epcot planned.

In that case Chef Mickey's is a good choice. Another nice thing about CM is they take a group photo before you're seated. Grandparents will likely love that and there are 4-4x6s included in the package which costs about $30.

I would pick CM's for Mickey & Friends. Another choice that is good is the CB at Beach Club's Cape May Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale. Not quite as crazy as CM's and lots of fresh fruit

Chef Mickey's, you have the princesses, and then you will have Mickey and Gang and it is a fun experience!

Chef Mickeys!!! We had so much fun with the characters we said it will now be on our must do list...We did Cinderella's gala feast and crystal palace as well on this trip and we enjoyed the food at Chef Mickeys and crystal palace the most and it was a tie with character interaction....definitly a must do.

If I had girls...I would pick 1900 Park Fare...but, I don't have any little ones, I have a ds2 and dd12...she has moved beyond the princesses and would rather eat with some other characters! They are both fun restaurants...for your sit. I would pick 1900.

My dd's love CM, but they really like 1900 better. Its way more girly!!
