For those of you going down soon with your little ones, I just wanted to let you know what a great time we had at the LittleOnes EMH we attended on Aug. 26th. In one hour this is what we did: My DS8 and DD4 rode the carousel with Chip, DD played "Duck, Duck, Quack" with Daisy and Minnie and also played with Tigger and Pooh at Pooh's Playful Spot. DS8 played with Peter Pan and Wendy and then also played games with Alice, the Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins. Mary Poppins even got DS11 into the action by scolding him for sitting out and inviting him to join in. We also sang a song with Mickey and Pluto. (There were no autographs during this time which really freed up the characters to just play with the little ones.) In addition to all the great character interaction, we also walked onto Peter Pan's Flight, the Pooh Bear ride, and the teacups. It was one of the best hours of our trip and so worth getting up and out early for!:thumbsup2

It sounds like you had a great time! I'm excited to hear it as we are going to the one on Wednesday! I'm very excited about it after hearing all of the great things others have said! What a blast! :cool1:

I have chills just reading that!!! I simply can't wait to see my 3 little ones faces on September 23rd for this!! Thanks for sharing!

My DS6 and I attended LOMH the last week of August and loved it! He played shadow tag with Peter Pan, Wendy and Captain Hook. He also played Red Light Green Light and Hide and Seek with Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet. All of the rides in Fantasyland were walk-on and there was tons of character interaction with very few guests. In fact, Alice and the Mad Hatter were riding the teacups alone and asking for children to come ride with them! I was concerned that my DS6 might be too old for the activities, but he was not. The CMs and characters did a great job incorporating all age groups. In many of the games there were toddlers to Grandparents playing along. It was one of our favorite experiences of our trip and definately worth getting up a bit earlier than usual.

Hi,

Is the little one's magic hour at a different time than the regular extra hours? Where could I find a schedule? I don't think I've run across that yet. Thanks! Sounds great. :)

We did this twice last week and it was great. You could probably do every ride in Fantasyland twice in that hour plus hang with the characters.

I just checked the WDW site and ot only goes until Oct 28th..=( We will be there in Dec. That's a shame, do they only have LOMH in the summer?

I can't wait for this. Even though my kids are a little older 10, 8, and 6, I think they will get a kick out of this. :thumbsup2

We did this morning twice. It is the best hour and I feel a must for families with little ones.

that's so great to hear -- :cool1: My kids are looking forward to playing with the characters. I thought DS14 would feel left out but it sounds like they involve "kids" of all ages! We can't wait!

Anyone have photos? We are going to try to get there twice during our trip! I can't wait.

I think this is the 2nd year they've done this and it has been in the fall (Sept/Oct) both times. I think the timing has to do with fitting it in with other scheduled events as well as encouraging parents with preschoolers to come to the parks after the school year has started.

Here's a couple of pics from when we were there last year

hth!

My sister and I were last year when they were running this and it was fun. We just went for the rides but we got such a kick out of seeing all the kids having such fun. I'm glad that they brought it back.

We did this last September, and dd had a blast! We went two mornings while we were there and she got to play ball with Stitch, Red Light, Green Light with Minnie & Daisy, rode the carousel with Chip & Dale, played Hide n' Go Seek with Pooh & Eeyore, and rode the WTP ride twice with Pooh.

Here is a pic of her and Pooh walking hand and hand to go ride WTP. I have other pics but they are on my other computer.
