What CS places do you recommend in the Boardwalk/YC/BC area?
We are thinking of taking a break during our Epcot day to head over there to see the holiday decorations in those resorts and want to eat lunch in that area. We have only eaten at TS spots there (Big River Grille, Beaches and Cream) and the Boardwalk bakery for breakfast.
TIA:thumbsup2

First off the Boardwalk does not really have a CS. The only place of those three that has a CS is the Beach Club and they also have Beaches and Cream which is great:goodvibes

I'd agree, staying at WS would be best; but if you want to check out CS at BW, you can get something at Hurricane Hanna's and watch the kids frolic in Stormalong Bay. OR you can get a decent CS at Boardwalk; they have a very good grilled veggie sandwich or turkey with provolone - they are premade but they throw them on the grill and they come out pretty tasty; there is also a Caesar Salad with Chicken, a fruit plate and one more item. And of course you get one of their fabulous pastries- we are partial to the Cheesecake Brownies, which are huge- for your dessert.

Beach Club Marketplace has soups, salads and sandwiches which didn't look bad and some nice-looking gelato.

You can use a CS at the spoodles walk up pizza window. We did this in Dec. It was quick and plenty seating outside or on the benches overlooking the water.:goodvibes

Actually, last week we were NOT allowed to do CS at the pizza window. We were really disappointed, too- it was midnight and nothing else was open. They told us the machine wasn't set up to take it, could only do TS inside. Wonder if they changed the rules or if we just had the wrong CM...

They don't accept the cs credit for pizza anymore! We also went in December and loved the pizza as a cs BUT we went in May and they said no more!! There are NO counter places that accept the dining plan on the Boardwalk. It is very frustrating that the Boardwalk do not offer any choices on the plan. We love to stay there because of the location and atmosphere but we need to have quick choices on the plan.

As pp said, you can go over to the Beach Club. Their menu is limited but is good. I would get a counter service in Epcot!

No, the rules have changed. We checked into it when we went in May because we just could not believe that they accepted it in December but not in May. I checked with management and it is true. No more at the window, meaning no counters any where on the Boardwalk. Terrible, isn't it?!

The decorations at The Beach Club are really nice to see. You can head over there. There are some nice choices in their marketplace inside (tables outside the door in a small courtyard) and there is Hurricane Hannah's outside by the pool (small amount of tables there).

No counters by Boardwalk but the decorations are still really nice to see there as well!

No choices at the YC either! Decorations are okay.

While the Spoodles Pizza Window doesn't take CS credits, the Boardwalk bakery does.

Their breakfast is lackluster, but their sandwiches are very good and the key lime tart is quite yummy!

Just thinking if you want to pay CASH the pizza on the Boardwalk is good.... Almost like "real" pizza from back home in NY. There is also a lunch/dinner stand that serves up chicken fingers/fries/mozz sticks/that sort of thing. We had lunch from there once. It was good. And as PP said, the bakery sandwiches are good also. But I would still choose the quick service at the Beach.
