Did Anyone Else Get A Call?

On Tuesday (coming home from work early and got a ride from a friend) I got a call on my cellphone from a man who did identify himself (can't remember his name) and stated he was calling from Disney-MGM about my Fantasmic dinner package for Dec 7th. I asked him to call me back since I didn't have anything with me. Well needless to say I never got a call, so I called concerning this and there was no info noted on my reservation, I tried calling the number back and it doesn't take incoming calls so I called reservations back and they connected me to Hollywood & Vine and they said they knew the number, but again nothing noted on the reservation and there was nothing noted about any special event in the park that night. Did anyone else get a call like mine or know something I don't?

A few on the Theme Park Strategies board got the same call. I guess they've added another Fantasmic and are checking to see if folks want to keep their same dinner time. They'll probably call back...hope that helps!!

Yep. Mine was for December 10th. They were moving Fantasmic up to 6:30pm and wanted to see if I wanted an earlier time.

The closing time on the calendar still says 8pm, so maybe they are moving it up to accommodate seeing the Osbourne Lights?

We missed our call too and they haven't called back - it was over a week ago. DH says that now there are 2 Fantasmic show for the night of our Fantasmic dinner package - 6:30 and 8 pm. He called someone (not that number because it wouldn't connect to anyone as the OP said) at MGM and was told that the Fantasmic dinner package is always for the first Fantasmic show if there are 2, so they are calling people to see if they want to change their dinner times to accomodate this. Our dinner is at 4:10pm so we aren't making any changes.

That was my first thought too. The girl that called me said Fantasmic was moved up to 6:30pm and did we want to change our dining time. We opted not to change, since our dining time is still TWO hours before the new show time.

Yep I got the call too for 12/16 and I got excited when I saw it on caller ID too
I kept original dining ADR since we're arriving that day and I don't think earlier would have worked out so he told us we could get vouchers to go to the 8:00 Fantastmic showing instead of the 6:30 show. We plan to see Osborne lights right after anyway so it all works out.
