When should I expect my Cruise Documents to arrive?

My cruise is for September 22 and still no luggage tags (documentation) has arrived. Should I be worried??

Also, any last minute advice for us first time DCL travelers? Im so excited

I believe 2 weeks prior was when we received ours....

I received mine yesterday for our Sept 20 cruise, exactly two weeks before we set sail. When you have them in your hands you really get excited!! Have a great time!

We're on this September 22/29 Western Caribbean cruise! Our cruise docs arrived today! I know some other folk are still waiting but it shouldn't be long now. I don't know if you've checked out our cruise meet thread, but you might like to pop by and say "hi"... Have a Magical cruise...

Karen! How did you get yours before us? You are in the UK and have yours. We are here in Illinois and still waiting! I guess I shouldn't be too upset, since we are driving. If they don't come, we can get luggage tags right there with the porters. And I already have the on line check in done and the print offs with my travel documents. The only thing I will need to take the time for is filling out the Bahama Immigration from. Definitely not a big deal. But I want that package to arrive! I know I'm crazy!

Eva, we are not in the UK, but Canada, and we always received our documents before those in the US. Maybe they mail it out first because it takes longer.

Ours did not arrive until the week before we left. There is lots of advice so here is just a little - read the tips here and ask questions. Look on the "meets" part to see who is on your cruise. Fill out the paper work on line. Then all you really need in the documents part are the luggage tags before you board. The one thing I read here and did not do that I wish I had was making our luggage look more "unique" so we could find it when we got off the ship. Note that putting something on the handle was NOT enough since many of the bags were up-side down or sideways. Also putting cute Disney tags with this crowd was not unique either.

Karen (CustardTart) and I are on the 9/22 too. You should hop over to the Cruise Meet board and join the group that is going to be on that cruise. We have a meet planned the first day.

BTW - I GOT MY DOCUMENTS JUST NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
