Pillow Case Question

I have a couple of questions about getting pillow cases signed by characters during our October cruise on the Wonder.

First, where do you take them? :confused3

Second, can I get pillow cases signed for my DS and DD while on a cruise with just DH and myself? I want to give them the signed pillow cases for Christmas and to help get them excited for our family '08 cruise on the Magic. (Like they need any help :rotfl2: )

Thank you! :thumbsup2

once you get settled into your stateroom, take the pillow cases down to guest services. they will ask you some questions, fill out a little sheet with your room number and what autographs you want, then they will be returned to your stateroom the last night of the cruise.
we sailed without our kids and we had 4 pillowcases autographed. we put the pillowcases in a ziplock bag with the Sharpie colors we wanted them to use. I also put my name and room number on a slip of paper inside the ziplock bag.
very easy and a very cool souvenir.

Just the answer I was hoping for! :dance3: Thank you so much!

Can you tell me what kind of pillow cases you used and also were the markers fabric markers or just permanent?

I used Pillow Shams. I used Sharpies but wished I'd thought of fabric markers instead. The Sharpies did bleed a bit.

Here is the pillow case I made for my DS. It is a polly/cotton blend and I have sharpie markers.

I'm making one for DD with a Disney Princess.

I used Shams - because they don't need to be washed as often (I prewashed them before I took them on the cruise). I got "cheap" ones at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I took sharpies in various colors. I put it all in a large zip lock bag. On the bag I wrote our room number and what I wanted - on 2 shams I wanted everyone but princesses and on one I wanted everyone plus princesses. They are adorable and my kids love them!

I used pillowcases with a high thread count. I used actual fine point sharpies. I bought everything at Walmart.
