Out of curiosity, where are you checking those? I have a friend in FL and I'd like to point her that direction! :)

Do you have to be a FLA resident or just able to travel on short notice? If it's the former, anyone know a way around that?

wow.. it figures.. we have a Florida residence as well as a NJ residence and we are sailing on 9-20-07 however we are in a Cat 3 so we don't qualify for a discount.. I assume..

:guilty:

Not with the Florida resident discount

Ok--then DU may not have updated, yet.

I wasn't trying to go around the board sponsors. I just have been subscribed to all seas newsletter for a couple of years now, so it is a reflex to refer to them.

No way around it. (I think if you know a florida resident who can travel with you and stay in your room--that may be the only way. But I am not sure.)

As long as there is at least 1 FL resident booked for a room, then everyone in the room regardless of their residence can qualify for FL resident rates.

One month closer to see if November rates come out. I can barely stand it.

Yes, they should be updating it soon.

My husband and I are both Florida residents, and we JUST booked one of those cruises/categories a few days ago. Any ideas if we could get the discount on our existing reservation?

Yes you can. If you booked it through DCL just call them up! If not, then make sure your TA knows and they can getyou the discount.

Shoot, I just called DCL and they said they couldn't touch it, since I booked through Travelocity, oops.

Maybe I'll try Travelocity....

Yes, you must as Miss Jasmine says, go through your TA....Good luck with that, and nothing better than receiving money back for your cruise :thumbsup2
