Any updates on Parasailing at CC?

I emailed Disney Cruise Lines and got a response that the parasailing was currently not being offered at CC. Our cruise is in November. Anyone heard any rumors or rumblings about when or if it might be offered again.
I hate having to log in to my reservation every day to see if it is offered again.

Well if it's any comfort to you. I am booked for parasailing during Oct. 7 wonder cruise and I haven't gotten a call yet. Only reason I know there is a problem is I read it here on DIS.

Update:
DH called DCL and was told it is still showing cancelled in their system and this was after she checked with Supervisor. They are going to dig into it futher tomarrow with excusion staff and call us back. Still showing no ressie aval on DCL site when I looked to see if DH could get it, but my already booked ressie still shows booked.

My DD and I are booked for Parasailing on the Dec 8th cruise, but I needed assistance from the concierge to do so. I'd definitely suggest calling on this one.

The website really needs to be overhauled!

I'm scheduled for parasailing on Monday. For a little while, my reservation didn't show up under "My Cruise Plans," but I checked a few minutes ago and now it's back.

As of 8:00p EST 9-5. They are doing parasailing again. Bridgette from DCL called and said it is back on.

'i don't know where you're getting it's available, but it's not.'

Called again; the lady checked my online reservation, asked her supervisor, and told me to disregard what I saw online, that the parasailing is indeed canceled. Silly me, why would I believe what I read on my cruise confirmation on the DCL's own website.

Sounds like the CM's need to get all the same information. I had a message on my phone Tuesday from DCL that my husband was indeed rescheduled for the parasailing again at 1030. It then showed up on my cruise plans. I also believe I read here recently that folks on the Aug 26th cruise were able to do parasailing at CC.

All I know is Bridgette had returned my DH's call and left msg on our Answering Machine saying parasailing was a go. I guess I'll just play it by ear until i leave.

I was on the 8/26 Wonder and we were able to parasail even though we had previously been notified that our excursion was cancelled. We checked when we got onboard and they did open up reservations for a limited time frame in the morning. We were able to get 6 reservations at 10:00 am. I did not see anyone parasailing in the afternoon at all. I would keep checking and if all else fails, check right away on the ship. They are at the mercy of the vendor so you might not know until on the ship. It's definately worth it if you get to go.

I hesitate to post this, since everyone may already know. Parasailing on CC is available again for on-line booking! I just checked.

I had called DCL a couple of days ago to try to change the time of our parasailing excursion in November (which we'd apparently booked before the online ressies were frozen). I was told by two separate CM's that they had a big note saying "parasailing is cancelled until further notice." The second one at least checked with a supervisor, and told me not to cancel because it might be back on.

Thanks to the mixed responses reported on this thread, I persevered and later spoke to a very helpful supervisor who looked into the matter. She told me that it was indeed on again, but that it hadn't been opened up for on-line booking yet because DCL was trying to contact everyone who had previously booked and then cancelled because they'd been told it wasn't available. Anyway, I just checked on my cruise plans to see what the status was, and the parasailing was available for booking.....

yup.. sadly i missed this update, but someone brought it to my attention elsewhere.. i was able to book parasailing for 11/11.
