Are the pools open 24 hours?

Are all the pools open 24 hours a day (unless of course of a code brown)? Our favorite memory of Princess was swimming at midnight under the stars.

Unfortunately the pools are not open 24 hours a day. I believe the Mickey pool closes at 10:00 and the Goofy and Quiet Cove pools close at midnight.

Did you ever see the movie Caddy Shack? If so, the pool in the movie was drained because of a "fake" Code Brown (a butterfinger, if I recall correctly).

What time do the pools open in the morning? DS usually is up around 6am (hopefully he'll sleep a little late on vacation). But if not, how early can we go to the pool? I imagine it will be quiet early in the day?

It may vary, depending on whether or not you're in port, but I think the Goofy and Quiet Cove pools open at 6:00 and the Mickey pool at 7:00. The waterslide usually opens later, like midmorning (10:00 or so).

The goofy pool will also be closed during any deck parties as that is where they usually have them

Thanks - I was thinking that was what it was. I actually had flashbacks to that particular movie while asking the question, but didn't remember the Code Brown part.

It was actually a Baby Ruth bar. ... one of the best scenes in that movie!!!!! We watched that movie for comic relief while I was giving birth to dd. Believe me, I think it helped!

I always get up around 7am on the cruise and go up to deck 9 for some coffee. And every morning the last cruise there was a little boy playing in the mickey pool. Early in the cruise the mom and dad were there with him but by the end of the week it was dad half asleep on a lounge chair.
