And we managed not to gain any weight
My new favorite CS item is the seared tuna salad at Seasons. Wow if you like sushi/seared tuna, it's a great deal. I had it twice
We ate TS dinners at
Cape May Cafe
Le Cellier
Flying Fish
Jiko
Cafe San Migel? (Mexico TS)
Ohana
Citricos
We paid OOP at Cape May and Mexico. We had 2 'date nights' and we able to pay OOP for the adult meals and use the kids TS credits at Cape May and Mexico. We asked very nicely and explained we were saving our credits and didn't have an issue.
I was prepared to be disappointed by Le Cellier since EVERYONE raves about it. It didn't disappoint - the mushroom filet was perfectly cooked and wonderful. We felt a teeny bit rushed but only slightly.
We adored FF the last time and it was good but not as great as last year. I guess I'm odd person out since I didn't adore their crabcakes. Service was great as always.
Cafe San Miguel was fine - easy to do OOP. Great location and solid service but the fare was as billed - fine but not great.
Jiko continues to be our favorite. We split the chicken flatbread to start and the truffled sweet potato/goat cheese appetizers. Then we both had our fave meal ever - filet over mac and cheese. Is there anything better? Our order was delayed going into the entree so Sarah, our server, comp'd us this sorbet soaked in berry vodka. Way to keep the wine drinkers really happy!
I continue to be amazed by Ohanas bread pudding. I'm not a fan of coconut, pineapple and esp. bananas but I cannot get enough of that stuff! I even bought the cookbook with the recipe.
Any questions - fire away!
