We have the 14 day ultimate tickets from Virgin for WDW-does this give free admission to Disneyquest or not-we don't fancy going on the rides, but I told DBf all about the Cheesecake factory on previous trips to USA and want to show him what I mean

Yes you get it incl. I read the Cheesecake factory in DQ is not as good as others but I don't know not been to any other. It was nothing special to me. a small display of bakery items.
Would recommend trying DQ for a few hours though, if its quiet its a great place.

The Cheesecake Factory in DQ is a "Cheesecake Factory Express", so that may explain the lack of options.

If it's the Cheesecake Factory you're interested in, rather than DQ itself, then try Mall at Millennia, very nice Cheesecake Factory there - lovely ambience and great food - don't just go for cheesecake tho, as i think i had the best burger of my holiday there too!!

Thanks boys-DBf just happened to be reading over my shoulder when I read your replies-Now I have to go change my T-shirt, its all covered in drool.... Don't think DBf stands much chance with DQ-he can't work the Sky remote yet......

We (just DH and I) went to DQ one evening in May - we did the virtual reality thing, the white water raft thing (hilarious) and the Cheesecake facory thing!
Chessecake factory - nothing special, I had a really bad, watery, tasteless iced latte there - sorry!
DQ was a fun way to pass a couple of hours !

Anyone standing watching us on virtual raft thing would be splitting their sides with laughter, I am sure I was close to a heart attack, I paddled so hard but dont think it made the slightest bit of difference. Shame they won't spend money on DQ and improve it, had some great times in there.

Actually that sounds like fun, maybe we'll have to go. We just had a day at Skegness and DBf surprised me by wanting to spend a lot of time playing silly arcade games-you know, whacking gophers and playing air hockey, turns out I'm very good at the kentucky derby game where you roll the balls to make the horses go. Do they have those sort of games too? I thought I'd read there was somewhere on the Boardwalk that had those sort of games too

you must do some of the rides there .my advice pick up a map as you enter i found it a little difficult to navigate my way round

Try find some info on the net, there is lots in there. A lot of old video games like Pacman, frogger etc. Build your own Coaster is amazing, pick out all the worst loops, turns and jumps then ride it in a simulator. Disney artists do learn to draw Disney character sessions. Pinball machines, virtual fishing, basketball, airhockey.
I could go on and on, 1st time we visited we got there for opening thinking 2 hours and out. They kicked us out at closing about 11pm. Time just goes in there, you cant see daylight so you lose track.

Avoid even if average crowds, it has got to be quiet to enjoy. Even short lines take forever in DQ, but when its quiet and no lines its a great place.

We went a couple of times over the last three weeks and queues have been light but it has also meant less staff on duty and it seems more things broken. Still a great place to spend a couple of hours.

One CM told us the big rumour is that DQ will be closing and possibly replaced by an ESPN Club.

Funny, I didn't know this when we visited, but I got the impression it wasn't up to Disney standards. I thought it was a bit run-down, paint was quite chipped on the walls, quite a few things not in operation - granted, we visited late at night but the cheesecake factory was a mess, nobody had bussed those table for ages.....
