Can you do both plans?

We are doing a 12 day trip in June, starting to think a little about it.. Is there any way we can do the DDP for part of the trip and then the deluxe plan for the other part?

Yes.
Split stay.
Book part one to include as much ticket media as you're going to use (or minus one day) and whichever plan you choose.
Book part two to include one-day base passes for each person in your party, and the other plan.

Okay, we don't yet know if DVC can purchase the Deluxe Plan.

If you can, same scenario as above, except with the benefit of NOT having to buy tickets, as you know.

You would still need to make two separate reservations, one for each number of nights you want to buy each plan.

I have been checking into rental points for our Jan visit. However I was told that I can pay for the deluxe plan when I check in. Now I wonder if this DVC member was telling me the truth. I have already made most of the ADR. Now what?

There's no reason they wouldn't. I should have qualified my earlier response - I'm not a DVC member (but I'm related to one, if that helps?), so I don't have direct access to their information.

I don't understand this post, disneynut, but if you are renting points from a member they must add the plan for you before arrival according to what I've read. You will then pay for it at checkin.

I had a few typo's. I was told that they would include the dining plan whenever ressies were made and I would have to pay for it upon checking in. However I have not heard from the DVC member today adn they were suppose to call and check on what available from 12/31/2007- 1/07/2008.
I hope this is clearer.

Thanks however I don't think they are going to be able to come through. I haven't heard anything back from them and there are serveral people wanting them. Also this member has been a DIS member since 2005 however has less than 20 post, seems a liittle strange to me. They may have changed thier member name.

I will keep trying though. I have a back up r4servation that will coer everyone just not a villa.

However if I can rent points I will reply info on deluxe plan when I have it.
