Taxi/Cabs... one hotel to another...

Our first day we arrive at Saratoga Springs and we have dinner reservations at Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge). I thought instead of taking the bus to Downtown Disney, only to have to board another bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge, with two little ones, it might be easier just to cab it. Also, on some of the days (we are going for 2 weeks) we might want to cab it to the park instead of waiting on the shuttle bus, so this info will be very valuable to us.

SO, do you have your hotel call you a cab? Or are they outside waiting? Also, what is the typical charge? And the situation with car seats? (our daughters are 1 and 4 FYI)

We have done this a few times. We find that after tip you can pretty much get from one place to another on property for about $20. We just walk out front and ask someone to call for one, but we have had to wait as much as 10 minutes for one to arrive, so plan the time in.

I am also wondering the same thing. We are staying at the Pop first night due to late arrival, but we need to check in at the Poly to get our park tickets my little ones are 1 and 2

The taxis and resort buses are considered public transportation and do not have child seats in them.

last year we took a taxi with out 3 yr old and no car seat... felt really really strange... we held on tight! but she loved it!
