welcome

I caught a double rainbow out of my hotel window yesterday. Isn't that stunning?!:thumbsup2

P.S. I think I saw Aroyer's husband stuck in traffic.:scared1:

very beautiful lisa. and did you know that is my favorite song. i saw this thread and i had to open it up! little side story.....when ds was a newborn i loved the middle of the night feeding because it was just him and i. no phones, nobody wanting to hold him or change him, not tv. no nothing, but us. and for some reason i started singing him that song. fast forward to when he's 3 and we are watching, yup you guessed it, the wizard of oz & that part comes on and he says to me, ( i kid you not) "mummy, that lady is singing our song." i just melted into the carpet. so i thought i loved that song before, but nothing like i love it now. it's at the point now where my dh buys it for me for xmas every year. i have it done by all kinds of people, but judy garland is my favorite, with johnnie mathias as a close 2nd.
sorry that was so long, but it's one of my favorite stories about my little man!
thanks for letting me share it with you!!!!!

LOL Lisa!!! Wasn't that beautiful??!!! DH works downtown and we don't live far from there so hopefully he isn't in too much traffic!

Great photo Lisa!! I love rainbows..
Hey, aroyer, I was going to ask if Lisa knew it was your DH because he had found the arc 2 houses down and on the left...

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Holy cow- it was him, you are so right!! Ok seriously, that really tickled my funny bone.

The arc is from a few months ago when Texas was getting tons of rain every day, had to build one just in case. It started raining again a few weeks ago and was wondering where I parked the thing. PN96 helped me find it- two doors down on the left. :lmao:

I got that but what does DH have to do with it all?? was he driving? Is his name Noah?? :rotfl2: did he forget to ask for directions again?

I'm lost........:confused3

where's that arc? did it take a left in Cleveland????

how did Lisa know your DH????

sad that you are lost in your little, blink and you'll miss it, town.;) :rotfl2:

every day I have been in Austin, it has POURED in the afternoon, with all this rain, I can see why there has been arc sightings.

Austin seems to have one highway, I-35. every afternoon there is tons of traffic as people go home, and since Aroyer's husband works downtown, I took an educated guess he was in the afternoon traffic. I'm so smart.:woohoo: Did you think they hired me for my pretty face?:rotfl2: Though the band playing late until the night at this place is starting effect my sleep and my pleasing personality.

Oooops sorry!!! Like I said, having a hard time keeping up with everyone last night. Maybe now that I've had :surfweb: I will be better.

You are so smart!! (Actually DH cuts through town to get home so that he doesn't have to get on the highway.)

Ahhhh so sorry you have been introduced to I-35. I do not get on that road for anything. It's good that you aren't driving in Austin, it can be confusing because all the roads have 2 names!

BAMB is found!!!!!!;)  Thank goodness! I would have missed you too much if you stayed lost.

Aroyer, thank goodness your DH doesn't have to go on I-35 each day. Being from the sticks, I seldom encounter traffic. My idea of a traffic jam is getting caught behind a school bus in the morning. I don't know how people handle driving in high areas of traffic.

DH and I are originally from the sticks too!! That's why we live central and he works 10 minutes away so he never gets on a major highway. Man, I still hate being stuck behind tractors and school buses more than anything!!!
