I haven't been to the Jazz Kitchen in DTD but seems like everyone that has loved their meal.

If you have been, what did you order that you really liked?

Occasionally, they will have Pecan Crusted Catfish. YUM!!

And of course, Bananas Foster prepared at your table.

Great question! We haven't eaten there before either, but we plan too next time! I will be looking forward to the responses!

The roasted chicken rosemary (the garlic creamed potatoes are to die for) and the bananas foster are both incredible.

I know people who work there so I go very regularly, but as a vegetarian I am probably not a lot of direct help to you, but I really want to suggest always asking the server what is best that evening. We have always had the best luck with this especially since one of the teens in our group loves the oyster shooters, and those are very good to have at their best!

My favorites

Salads; French Quarter and the new pomagrante dressing one

Appetizer: I love the garlic bread YUMMY!

For main dishes: the only thing I heard was mediocre was the rosemary chicken otherwise I have heard great things about the Sirloin, Catfish, Salmon and the Lobster Ravioli. I tend to get sides or ask the server to make me something special.

Save room for dessert!!!!!!!!!!!! I hear the Bread Pudding is fantastic (I am not a huge fan of it myself but its just not my thing), of course the Bananas Foster that is made at your table and just about anything on the dessert menu.

I really love to eat out out on the patio at night its a nice view and good for people watching and you can see the fireworks (not the castle though).

Order their coconut shrimp--it is so good that I have it every time. It is an appetizer. I was there last week and I ordered 2 portions and that was my entree!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I haven't found a favorite meal there yet but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing to eat ever is there!

They have the most yummy deep fried dill pickles as a side on their lunch menu only! I keep joking with my BF that he better watch out for when the time comes for us to start a family together that he will either need to buy a deep fryer and perfect the art of the pickle chip or he will be making many trips to DTD for them! Hehe! :lmao:

Its been a long time since we had a dessert there but the Beignets are very yummy (just as good from the take out place too cause they give you a paperbag full of powered sugar and the beignets -- extreme sugar high in a bag!!
