Off on our Last Adventure for the Summer

So, we're going to Maine tomorrow. Just me, DS and DD. My DH doesn't like to drive in the car for very long - and it is an 8 hour trip. He also doesn't like to camp - and we're camping for next week. I'll be gone from the 9th to the 17th or so. I don't know about checking in, but I'm pretty caught up. (Thanks in part to working until 2 am every night this week! )

Think of me tomorrow at about 8:30 am. That is when we're leaving and then again at 5:30 pm. That is when we expect to be getting to my DSis's house. Can't wait!

Have fun up here in Maine!! I wish I saw this earlier...I wonder which part of Maine you are coming to??? I'm thinking it must be Southern Maine since it will take 8 hours. The weather has been wonderful up here lately. We took these last 2 weeks off and they have been awesome!

Thanks everyone! I thought of you BAMB and Lisa in CT and NEE in MA, but didn't see exits for your towns. We took 84 and eventually got on 95. We're in Portland right now and will be camping in Boothbay Harbor.

The weather is perfect! The company is excellent and we are having a great time. I have already taken a ton of pictures. And we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet!

We were in Portland for 4 days and in Boothbay for 4 days (well, we're still here...). My sister lives in Portland, so we stayed with her family. Now we are all camping in Boothbay and yes, of course, it is raining. We've had lobster for dinner the last two nights. Life can't get much better (unless I was also in Disney...). We'll be home on Friday. I'm looking forward to doing (as if that was possible... )

We're home! Did a lot of shopping! Ate a lot of lobster. Yummo! Got a lot of mosquito bites. Did a lot of driving today, but we're home and it is good to be back. I missed you guys! Anything exciting happen?
