Okay well, we were in Disney for my birthday which was July 30... first things first, DBF and I met in Disney World 3 years ago. We did the Disney College Program internship, he is from Oklahoma and I am from Illinois. I met him through a girl I worked with, and we start dating in July 2004. After the internship I went back to IL and he went back to OK and we did the long distance thing for about 6 months, then after that semester I packed up and moved to OK to be with him.
So we went to Disney on vacation and he didn't know when or where he was going to propose (those boys always have a plan, right?
) During Illuminations we walked over to Boardwalk and we were walking by Sea Breeze point and he says Oh lets go over there. So I was like OK! cause I wanted to take some pictures. Well then he disappears.
Oh well.
So when he comes back he has this random family with him and I'm like who are those people? And he comes up and says, So 3 years and a week ago I asked you something pretty important (to be his girlfriend
). And I say yeah you did, and he says, And I want to ask you something else pretty important... then he attempts, for about 30 seconds, to get the ring box out of his cargo shorts LOL. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I said yes, and it wasn't till about 5 minutes later that I started crying, LOL.
He had wanted to have a group of people there to watch, hence the random family... since we left DURING Illuminations, he walked out to the Boardwalk and NO ONE was there!
He had to run up the hill and he like, I'm gonna propose, could you like, come over here? hehehehe He's so cute. So anyway, he also bought us Mickey and Minnie groom and bride ears that we wore to MK extra magic hours that night. Everyone was like Congrats when did you get married? And we were like we actually got engaged like an hour ago. haha.
So we met in Disney, started dating at Disney, got engaged at Disney, so isn't a Disneymoon appropriate? We think so. hehe. Well, thanks for reading!
Hi all! We just got back from our vacation Wednesday and we had a blast! My DBF proposed while we were there, on 7-27-07 at Boardwalk, under that pavilion area between ESPN restaurant and International Gateway. It was after Illuminations, and we were by the water, very sweet! So now I get to plan a Disneymoon in a couple years 
Just wanted to share my good news!!
